"Do you know how many times I get asked that?" Merlin bit back. "As if I'm supposed to know some Eton boy's name. Have you had so much champagne you've forgotten?" he added mockingly, even as he dabbed ineffectually at the man's arms with the tissues he'd procured.
"I truly don’t care how many times you've been asked. I can assure you, you clearly deserve it."
"And I truly don’t care who you are." Merlin scowled, shifting the tray in his hands.
"Well then, you won’t mind the papers writing about you being the dimwit who spilled champagne on Prince Arthur, will you?"

“I wouldn’t touch the Major Arcana.” Arthur startled, nearly dropping the cards. He whirled around to the voice. “They get twitchy.”
An ornamental crystal ball fell onto the floor behind him, shattering into millions of tiny pieces.
Behind him was a man, probably near Arthur’s age. He registered the wide, bright eyes, pale skin, and dark hair. Arthur hadn’t heard him approach. Where did he come from?
“The—” Arthur’s eyes jumped back to the magician card, “Major Arcana?”
That sounded sort of... magicky
“Yes, yes, they get so full of themselves.” The man’s lips twitched, and Arthur was inexplicably drawn to the hint of his grin.
Or, a lot can happen when you take cover under a random shop's awning. Mostly, Arthur just wants to figure out why 'The Magician' card is always his future.

“Can I help you?” The man shoved past him, not even the slightest bit put off by the biosteel onesie in red and gold. He unlocked the purple door with a wave of his hand (that’s not right, Arthur’s brain insisted) and shoved it open.
“Sorry, I just…” All the words he wanted to say died somewhere between his brain and his mouth. Everything felt wrong but his heart eased up for the first time since he woke up in the middle of what he assumed was a park with a head injury and no memories. He pulled in a deep breath, set his shoulders, and tried again. “I think I belong to you.”
There was a tense moment where neither man breathed.
Or
Superhero Arthur gets amnesia and decides to crash on Merlin's couch while Merlin's doing his best to "save" the city.
