An episode 6 canon divergence in which a bathroom confrontation during the awards show causes Pomni to make a difficult choice and Jax to lose his memories of the circus.
Friendship, betrayal, and feelings ensue as Jax tries to piece together the nature of his relationship with Pomni, who struggles to reconcile this endearingly open version of him with the one who doesn't let himself feel anything.

Eren’s fists curl at his sides as he growls the words. His solitary visible eye is near bloodshot with rage. Zeke sighs, lungs swamped with disappointment. Of course, he doubted his brother’s faith in their mission. That was why he had the Founder create the false chains, after all, but it doesn’t do anything against the inevitable sting of betrayal.
It’s not Eren’s fault.
