After most of their counselors have to back out right before camp is supposed to start, the Bad Kids and the Rat Grinders join the lineup for Jawbone's friend's summer camp the summer before their senior year. What could go wrong?

Ragenarok is over. Elmville is safe. The Rat Grinders' shatterstars are broken, but Adaine isn't as quick to forgive them as the rest of the Bad Kids. Especially not Oisin. Little does she know, while Oisin may not have a crystal in his chest anymore, something else threatens to take its place.

“You want to go to a party thrown by the Bad Kids?” Ivy asks, folding her arms.

After the events of their Junior Year The Bad Kids in form of a peace offering invite the remaining Rat Grinders to a party, it gets rowdy and emotional as any good Aguefort party should. We follow both parties and co. in the aftermaths, through the summer, as they try to form a friendship with people that they fought to the death.

Oisin kills rats in the school’s backyard.
He lifts his finger, suddenly more exhausted than he has been in years, and casts a quick message. “Sorry.”

Summary
Ivy had the same wit and smart remarks that Aelwyn did, and the two of them fell into the same sort of comfortable banter, but Ivy wasn’t nearly as bitchy as she had been with the rage shard in her. All of The Bad Kids were obsessed with Mary Ann—even Gorgug, who seems to have gotten … extremely close to the kobold over the summer, and now that Ruben knew about Wanda Childa (Adaine chuckles to herself at this, that the ruse had even gone on that long), him and Fig were forming a genuine relationship based on their love of music, and not the insanity that came with tricking a kid to love your Alter Emo.
No one knows where Buddy Dawn went. Ivy remembered him being … obsessive when it came to the false god name Fig had originally given Porter. She briefly wonders what could have happened if Kristen had gotten through to him, had been able to sit and talk to him about what Helio truly was. Bobby Dawn left shortly after his nephew, to all of their welcome, especially Fig and Sandra Lynn.
Kipperlilly is still dead.
So … that solves that problem.
And Hakinvar had backed out of his party’s summer cleanup project forty five seconds after Augefort had assigned it to them.

Summary
A series of loosely connected snippets from the summer after junior year. There are explicit mentions of sex but nothing happens on screen. Have I ever before considered smut as juice and non-smut as pulp? No, but the chant wouldn't leave my head when trying to come up with a title.
Mostly based around Skutgug (the new ship name of Scuttlespring I've embraced) but it’s evolved to be a series of vignettes about all the Bad Kids and the [former] Rat Grinders as well, with big chunks of Adaine/Oisin & Ivy/Aelwyn, and out of nowhere, unrequited(?) Lucy/Kristen.

Adaine is sixteen years old and she thinks her heart has broken right in two. It shouldn’t have. This should have been a joyous moment. Not only had they completed the Last Stand, they had survived it. Done what no other party had done in the history of Aguefort. But she can’t bring herself to be happy. Not with Buddy Dawn dead and the only person that had ever made her heart flutter trying to fuck her over so badly.
