Some of them were fantastic, and others required a great deal of imagination to be able to distinguish exactly what the picture was supposed to depict. But this was one of the former. A set of glowing wings was rising from his back. Every feather was clear and distinct, snowy white with a soft golden sheen. Yet the wings were transparent enough that the background could still be seen through them. “That’s incredible!” Misha exclaimed, admiring. “How did he do it?”

Dean and Cas have been friends for years, but Dean has concluded that friends is all they will ever be. After being cheated on by his wife and mate April many years before, Cas swore he would never so much as even date again, let alone take another mate. So he had to content himself with just being the Alpha's best friend. It's enough to have the man in his life, and he's glad he has that much. Cas is his best friend too and when he makes the decision to go back to college to finish up the last of his master's degree, it's Cas that volunteers to watch his son Jack while he takes night classes.
There are things Cas doesn't know though, that Dean isn't willing to talk about. Like how that drunken one night stand they'd had three years earlier had resulted in Dean getting pregnant, or how Jack was actually Cas' son. Dean won't settle for just sharing his pup with the Alpha. He wants a mate and more pups. The one thing Cas has been unwilling to give. Will the Alpha step up before it's too late and realize that the family he has always wanted has been right in front of him all this time?

Dean Winchester was a Marine- and when he came home from overseas, he found out exactly what his family thought of him. Hearing enough, he left. Years later, he's settled- well, found an alley- in Wyoming. The next thing he knows, he's been hired at the local veterinarian's office, then at the Novak ranch. It'd be easier, of course, to keep his head down and do his job if the ranch owner, Castiel, wasn't so gorgeous.
Life's been a struggle to live day to day for Castiel since the day that he lost his wife and daughter in a tragic accident. He never expected to fall for the gorgeous man that he'd hired. Dean reads him in a way that his wife had never managed and it's terrifying.
As the local Veterinarian, Gabriel Novak was a damn busy man- He's lonely, and it's worse as he watches his brother definitely not stare or flirt with the new hand. Fed up with it, he signed up for a dating app only to put in the Stanford ZIP instead of his own.
Sam is shocked when he meets an amazing man- the only problem? He lives in Wyoming. It's completely worth the trip to see him, though- especially when he finds the brother who he thought was dead working for his new boyfriend!
