Light was seven when he ran away from home. He was seven when he found a panda looking child. Light was seven when he was finally accepted for who he was.
L was nine when he became the world's greatest detective. L was ten when he found a brown-haired child covered in dirt. L was ten when he made his first friend.
AU: Light runs away from home and is found by L. This follows Light and L growing up together and then the Merikh Case (which follows the timeline of the Kira Case just with a different name). Light uses the name of Kira when he is at Wammy's House so hence the rename.

Summary
After Starscream's disastrous attempt to join the Autobots, he flees, only to be found by Optimus with the intent of bringing him back to base. Things go horribly wrong, though, and the two are imprisoned in a cave-in. Optimus asks Starscream to try again at joining the Autobots and to renounce his Decepticon ways, but Optimus learns from Starscream that the line between Autobots and Decepticons is blurrier than he thought, and that the Autobots are more similar to Decepticons than he'd like. Starscream and Optimus soon learn that there is much more to both of them than either one thought.
Starscream makes a bold choice and betrays Megatron in a way he never has before. He joins the Autobots.
And Megatron is not pleased.

Summary
After discovering a strange object while on a mission, Jack, Raf And Miko find themselves in a very different reality. The Decepticons they have feared for years take them into their care, while the Autobots who they've come to love attempt to destroy them. With no explanation as to how they arrived in this new universe, the children must work with their new companions to figure it out, and are sure to learn a lot about the cons on the way.
What links are there between this universe and their own? How can they get home? And since when did Megatron give a damn about Starscream?

“I won’t let you die for me.” Starscream shakes his head free. “Too many have.”
Optimus Prime and Starscream find themselves falling in love, despite being on opposite sides of a centuries-long war. When Megatron finally goes too far, Starscream has the rare opportunity to find true healing and love in another and Optimus has the chance to defeat his ancient enemy and fight for the one he loves.
