Summary
Twilight knew fighting in wolf form was more exhausting and dangerous. The lack of weapons and armour were drawbacks which left him often bruised and battered, not to mention the awful taste at the back of his throat after every battle which took away his appetite, but the advantages given by his wolf senses were invaluable and had saved his life and those of his companions more than once. The pain and other inconveniences of the transformation were but a small price to pay for the safety of his friends.
He had no idea of just how dangerous this could prove to be, for both himself and his companions.

Summary
When Ganondorf returns during Hyrule Warriors, he’s on a mission to make things right, though what that means is beyond everyone around him. Kidnapping the Hero of Hyrule and telling him he’s protecting him from the Queen is not what anyone expected, and nobody can quite figure out what his ultimate goal is. Link sure is confused, though, and… starting to realize there’s more to Ganondorf than just being a monster. Zelda, on the other hand, is quickly spiraling with panic and fear over losing her friend and Hero, as well as trying to protect her kingdom. Destiny looms heavily over her and everyone, and its weight can be crushing.
Ganondorf gets a redemption arc, Zelda gets a villain (and redemption) arc, and Link gets to find out what it truly means to be the Hero of Hyrule.

Summary
Link had experienced many strange things during the War Across the Ages. This portal-based travel thing wasn't exactly new to him. Neither was meeting more Links, heroes sharing the same spirit across eras.
Doing it while being a horse, however... Now THAT was new.
AKA Warriors gets cursed to be a horse right before dropping through a portal into another era.

After the defeat of the mighty Ganondorf, Link and Midna are dispatched by and with Princess Zelda to attend a victory tour that concludes with Midna’s journey home to the Realm of Twilight. Along the way, using each other as a mirror, the two finally have time to unpack their experiences together across Hyrule, their worries and hopes about the future, and what it feels like to know the meaning of trust.

Revali sputtered into a stunned silence.
“Bullshit, that’s impossible!” His feathers rustled as he balked. “He was sent by the Demon King!”
“We know that, but— he has the mark of the goddess on his hand,” Urbosa snapped. “The rest of us saw it. If you don’t believe it, you can see for yourself.”
The Rito didn’t even deign to give the unconscious swordsman a glance.
“Hero or not, we’re not letting him off the hook just like that,” Revali’s voice climbed an octave. “He’s too dangerous— we saw what he’s capable of. We have to kill him while he’s still weakened!”
“We aren’t killing him,” Zelda asserted again. This time, she lifted her eyes. Her voice held a note of cautiousness, but it was still unshakeable.
“If we’re to even hope to defeat the Demon King, we need the hero on our side. We have to take him with us.”
[In which Link was raised as Ganon’s right hand man, but Zelda and the Champions snatch him away.]
