“Pepper, focus,” the man on the other end cuts, snapping his finger in front of the camera. He sounds unquestionably like the original Tony when he’s being an irritating dick. “Finish your tete-a-tete with your life-size version of Captain America’s action figure and tell Happy to pick me up and take me back to Malibu. Last time I remember I should be on a flight to Afghanistan, and see, I am able to remember that even if it’s my assistant, that’s you by the way, who should be keeping up with my schedule.”
Steve finally manages to make a sound, but for some strange reason he can only get out, “Tony, it’s 2023.” And from that point everything goes to hell.
Or the one where Tony Stark pulls one more miracle and Steve needs to learn how to live a normal life.

And then she sits with them in the great hall. The fire burns, crackling cheerfully in the background when Lambert tells one of his crazy stories, showing how he slew this or that monster. Jaskier interrupts him with sharp remarks and anecdotes on his own, driving the other witcher mad to the point he gives up and lets the bard play one of his ballads in the making. Ciri sits there, next to Geralt, plastered to his side in search of warmth and things she still misses and can’t have enough of after her lonely journey to find him – another human’s closeness. And she listens, and soaks in every word, and just like that she becomes a part of him. It’s like she was meant to be at his side. Irreplaceable. Natural. Constant.

"Aren't you at all happy to see me?" Howard shot back, holding his glass out and pointing with his index finger. At Steve's stony face, he dropped his arm. "Want a glass?" he tried, picking up an empty tumbler, "This is good stuff."
"Tony doesn't skimp on - well - anything. And no, thank you."
"Was that Tony?" he queried, gesturing toward the hallway the other man had disappeared down. Steve nodded but didn't give any more information, so Howard repeated his earlier question, "Aren't you happy to see me?"
It took Steve a moment to answer. Howard could see his jaw working. "No, not anymore."
OR
In which Howard travels to the future and just messes up everybody's day, Steve is conflicted, and Tony is a piping hot mess, as per usual. It's not going to be easy, but Steve and Tony have to somehow navigate through Howard's arrival and the strain it puts on their relationship.
