Summary
The bathroom looked a lot different now than it had when he had moved in, but the most glaring difference was the uptick in quality of his soaps. The place looked more like a poor man’s spa than anything at this point, he thought, but Luis was self-assured and always got what he wanted, no matter how frivolous it seemed to Leon. It kept them sane, really, to occasionally butt heads over the clutter of products everywhere.
A slight wobble from Luis had Leon shooting a hand out to catch him around the midsection. A crooked smile, one that didn’t quite reach the eyes, graced Luis’s face and he chuckled. “I’m supposed to be taking care of you now, Sancho. Just relax.” Leon didn’t have to say anything to convey a sense of worry, but it was quick to be shrugged off.

All that effort and being under constant stress lead him to forgetting something.He got Periods.

Leon opened his eyes in a cocoon of warmth. The room was engulfed in the darkness of the night, the window open to let in a bit of fresh air after a hot, sweltering day. It had been particularly hot, surpassing, as every year, the meteorological forecasts. This forced Leon to sleep shirtless, unable to bear any more fabric on his skin. Luis already knew what lay hidden beneath his clothes.

Luis wakes up beside Leon, and for a moment, mistakes their apartment for his childhood bedroom. Old memories get dug up by the mistake- but at least Luis has Leon to lean on and talk through his emotions with. And Leon is more than willing to hear every story his boyfriend has to tell.

Leon rounded the bed and crawled back into his spot. He tugged his blanket over his bare legs, but didn't lie down. Instead, he turned to face Luis. "Can't sleep, huh?"
"Yeah." Luis blinked. "Well, I mean, no. I can't."
"Been there. Happens after every mission, but it was the worst after..."
"Yeah," Luis nodded. It was selfish, but he didn't want to hear about Umbrella or Raccoon City right now. It didn't seem likely that Leon wanted to talk about it, either.

Leon was broken out of his bored state when he felt something brush against his leg under the table. He looked up to Luis, about to ask if he had felt it too, when he noticed him pointedly avoiding his gaze. It happened again, and he let out an amused chuckle when he recognized the feel of leather under his pant leg. "Seriously?"
"Hm? I'm afraid that I have no idea what you're talking about." Again, he ran the tip of his shoe against Leon's skin, the hair on his legs tingling as the stiff material brushed against it. He kept eye contact now, clearly enjoying the bit of manageable chaos he was causing. Leon nudged him with his own foot, and it made him feel like a teenager again, all nerves and awkwardness on his first date. His cheeks warmed when he caught the smirk spread across Luis's face, unable to stop himself from smiling back.

"How did you realize you were a girl?" Phil asks, one morning, out of nowhere. He's curled up in the corner of the couch, laptop balanced sideways on his knees, noodling away at a script for a project he won't be starting work on for months. Danielle is on her way back to the other end of the couch, a fresh mug of coffee in hand. She stops.
"What?"
"You just– you seem like you figured it out so fast," Phil stammers, fidgeting with the USB dongle plugged into his laptop for his wireless mouse. The indicator light on it flickers on and off, blue and searing bright into his still-tired eyes.
"Twenty-seven years isn't exactly fast, Phil."
