Summary

We won't forget that, MGCoin.” The utterance of Myung-gis pseudonym was harsh, Thanos’ tongue being laden with a disdain. Before Myung-gi can remark his defenses, he bites his cheek and nods, his hands clasping together before he adds.
“We’re starting a fire if you’d prefer to cook your food.” His words are strained from irritation, and he bore an artificial grin. Rather than responding, Nam-gyu turns back to Thanos, continuing their past conversation. Myung-gi takes this as a sign to not bother them for the rest of the night.

After Alfred ends up fainting in public in front of the media from the poor economic conditions and over all everything conditions his new boss enforces at his signing, he's put into house arrest to hide away the fact that America is slowly falling apart. Even his personalized doctors know his sickness isn't caused from the average cold but legally can't announce such information.
That's not even the worst part; the other's aren't allowed to visit him as he forced out of the loop of what is going on to the outside world with the only evidence of it getting worse being his condition.

Alfred watched the TV with an anxious gaze. As more and more votes came in, the usual states swung right or left. The sheer amount of red was making him nervous, but he'd watched plenty of elections before! It was simply the red mirage— it was the same every election; red states got counted faster as they had fewer people, the votes from the blue states rolled in and came out on top..! But that didn't happen. Alfred could only watch in abject horror as each swing state swung right. He couldn't believe his eyes— but there it was. The winner of the 2024 election had been announced.
They were all in for another long four years with Trump.
