“Well. How precious” a voice says from behind him, startling a jump out of him from where he’d been taking a picture of the old train station, fading, peeling paint giving way to dark stone and old engravings.
Tim turns quickly, hand going to his pocket where he keeps a container of mace. Because just because there are heroes in the city doesn’t mean you can assume they’ll save you from everything.
It’s a woman, tall and skinny with long, dark hair and pale skin. He’s holding an umbrella in one hand, like a parasol, though there is no drizzle falling at the moment. Her eyes meet Tim’s and soften, going darker than before as she crouches, black dress pooling around her in the mud, without her care.

As Danny attempts to move on from the tragedy he manages to get summoned by cultists, build a new family for himself and even find love. Not all in that exact order.
Tim Drake thought getting kidnapped by cultists was probably the most annoying thing to have ever happened to him. Little did he know it would also be the best thing to ever happen.
