Summary
A wish made upon the completed Shikon Jewel changed the world as everyone knew it. Thrown far into an unfamiliar future, Kagome is left adrift, cut off from everything and everyone she once knew and loved. Unable to connect with people the way she once did, Kagome cuts herself off from society and retreats within herself, putting up walls around her heart between her and the rest of the world. Until one day, while wandering through a forest, she is stumbled upon by Lucy Heartfilia, a fresh young runaway with dreams of magic. Watch as, under Lucy’s light and with the help of others they meet along the way, the walls separating Kagome from everyone else are slowly torn down, and she finds herself surrounded by family and friends once more.

Summary
The fight for the Shikon Jewel is over and Naraku is finally gone - but at a terrible price. Left reeling from all she has lost, Kagome's mother grows concerned for her troubled daughter and reaches out for help from the one person she had sworn she would never contact - Kagome's biological father. How will Kagome handle finding out that her father is actually THE Bruce Wayne? And on top of that, he's Batman, too? Her brother seems to think that being a hero runs in the family, but will she ever be able to shake off the shackles of the past enough to live up to the image he has of her? It's a long road to recovery, something that Kagome couldn't achieve by staying in Japan, but maybe she will be able to do so in Gotham City.

“This… this would qualify as a mental breakdown, right?” Triton asked, frowning over his shoulder to where Percy was still fuming in the corner. The lady at the counter curiously glanced over before lifting a questioning brow. “My brother – half-brother, technically, I have much better breeding – decided to run away from home to where our father can’t reach him and now he won’t leave. And now I can’t leave unless he leaves,” Triton continued. Percy opened his mouth to object that wasn’t what happened at all, but the tyrant only waved a hand to silence him. “He’s seen war or whatever, so if you could maybe just drug him then I’ll throw him into a suitcase and we can be out of here by the Summer Solstice!”
Silence. Finally, the woman cleared her throat and turned to Percy.
“I’m guessing he’s the one you want checked into the mental hospital?” She asked. Triton gasped as Percy punched the air in victory.
“Aha!”

I turn around, and slam my forehead into the deck as I fall to my knees. “Please, god, I know the last time we talked I told you to suck an egg but what the actual fuck. What did I do? Is this because of the gay thing? I’ll stop I swear I’ll knock it off just please—”
“What are you talking about? Why were you swimming all the way out here? What’s with your weird clothes?” The Boy, whom I refuse to name on principle, starts rapid fire shooting out questions while wiggling his way across the tiny boat to me.
“This is actually happening. Oh my god this is real, what the shit…” I turn around from my position on the floor to see The Boy crouched inches from my face. I give an undignified yelp and scramble as far back as I can without tipping over the edge.
He gives me that bright grin and announces “I’m Monkey D. Luffy! I’m gonna be King of the Pirates!” Then he cocks his head to the side. “Who’re you?”
