Zoro wakes up in an unknown place (not worrying, it happens often, the world never stops moving), chained to a wall (moderately worrying, he had gotten out of worse) with a chip preventing him from falling asleep in his neck (rather annoying, he likes to sleep). A Marine unit is on its way to escort him to Impel Down but Zoro does not intend to stay imprisoned until they arrive. Or until he loses his mind from lack of sleep.
But who will arrive first, his crew, the Impel Down unit or Death?
OR
Zoro can't sleep, ghosts come to keep him company.

Nami was curled up near the mast, her face buried in her own arm. Robin was the only one still reading, unbothered, sipping tea beside the chaos. Usopp and Brook had somehow ended up tangled in a hammock, snoring in tandem, while Sanji was passed out over a tray of half-eaten snacks. Jinbei was the only one who still looked somewhat dignified, sitting cross-legged with his eyes closed, but Zoro could tell he was asleep too.

Being the only prisoner captured, and with his status in the Fire Nation gives the Northern Water Tribe a dilemma, what to do with their firebending prisoner? Luckily Yue suggests that since he did save the Moon Spirit's life that the spirits should decide. Therefore a meeting with the spirits is arranged and Zuko is sent into the spirit world.
OR
An Alternative Universe where Zuko is sent to the StarWars Universe by the spirits and he is imprisoned in the Narkina V Imperial Factory Facility and has plenty of time to dwell on his past and future, with some help from the other prisoners. AKA An Avatar: The Last Airbender/StarWars crossover that no one asked for!Series

Zuko gets cursed by the Fire Sages and transformed into a dragon at Ozai's command. (Zuko did not know, he was lied to by Ozai.) Ozai tries to control Zuko to use him as a weapon for war, but Zuko is finally done with his father's shit. Due to Zuko fighting back and not complying, Ozai has Zuko locked away under the Fire Sages' Temple.
After the Eclipse, newly crowned Firelord Iroh is approached by Fire Sage Shyu who informs Iroh of the dragon situation. Shyu does not know that the Dragon is Zuko, just that the Fire Sages were keeping a captive dragon below the temple.
Zuko attempts to communicate with those around him, but nobody really pays attention to what he is doing, because a baby dragon is adoreable. And Zuko in dragon form is the size of a cat.
