“Hello,” The man offered along with an outstretched hand which Marc stared at like a caveman who hasn’t yet learned all the human niceties. “I’m Steven Grant, I’ve never seen you before. Did you just move in?”
It would be easier to reject, to scowl and glare at Steven and ignore his gentle cordiality. But something about Steven had his own hand stretching out to catch Steven’s withdrawing hand in a firm shake before he could stop it.
“Hi,” He offered back, a corner of his lips quirking up into a half-smile. “I’m Marc, and yeah, I just moved in next door.”

Marc suddenly awoken in a place lying on a bed of plush soft grass and the sweet scent of spring surrounding him. A man with white wings in a long white robe with eyes of molten gold stood next to him telling what his name was and that he was in a place called the "Garden of Eden". His purpose of existence was unknown, just that he was created by a being called God and he was part of their Great Plan.
