He trails off. The man looking back at him is staring, eyes huge, mouth slightly agape. The left eye is sort of clouded over and doesn't seem functional, but the right is storm blue. There are tired bags under his eyes, he's scruffy and unshaven, his hair is mousey brown and messy. The scarring on the left of his face seems to inhibit hair growth, so it's patchy, but it doesn't make him look unsightly.
There's a couple grey hairs in there. He's too young for them, but, with what he's been through…
"Leon?” he squeaks.
"Bryan?” Leon asks, with the same amount of incredulity.
Bryan blinks at him, and then hauls back and punches him in the arm.

And the warmth of Leon’s hand is an unmistakable fire beneath his skin. Where his fingertips had drug across is a trickle of electricity all the way down his spine, lingering in the dimples at his back. But it just as soon runs cold as Leon quickly pulls his hand away.
He leaves Bryan like that, in the bitter silence, his head full of thoughts but resting in a brilliantly soft pillow.

Basically just several times that Jamie had a little too much to drink and his loved ones picked up the pieces as he struggles to repair his relationships with them, until he eventually is able to overcome his issues with alcohol. Based on a hc that Jamie doesn't drink much and is therefore a lightweight due to the way he often avoids drinking in the show.

Jamie Tartt is sitting in one of the little plastic chairs put out for the kids on the rug that's made to look like a map. He looks comically large among the kid sized area.
Phoebe is still holding Roy's hand and all Roy can think is: no fucking way Jamie Tartt sees the same dam pediatrician as his seven year old niece.
But then a little boy comes around the corner after Jamie has met Roy's gaze and something imperceptible crosses his face.
"Daddy! They have a bear book! Like at home." The kid, must have been five or so, tumbles right into Jamie fucking Tartt.

Ted Lasso is not a perfect man. Far from it, in fact. He’s a man of many regrets, something that’s not likely to change anytime soon.
Seeing Jamie Tartt staring up at him with such a defeated look on his face, the boot that was chucked at his head and only narrowly missed flopped idly on its side next to him, makes something clench up in Ted’s chest.
For just a moment, he’s sixteen again, just a few seconds too late and fucking devastated. And then someone, Jamie’s dad, if he even deserves to be called that, is in his face again and Ted can’t see him anymore. In that split second, where Jamie’s slumped shouldered frame and hollow eyes disappear, Ted is forty-five once more, and he refuses to have this regret added to the tally.
Ted pushes the door open.
