Rival mob bosses Tony Stark and Peter Parker have been at each other's throats and in each other's bed for years. It's almost comical how half of their goonies seem paired up with someone from the other side, and surely it's a coincidence that neither of them has had sex with anyone else since they started their weekly meet-ups. It means nothing that they know everything about the other. It's a totally normal rival thing for Tony to send Peter pretty things and for Peter to throw fits when Tony is out of town (usually by committing arson on the nearest building that his rival/lover owns). They hate each other. Plain and simple. Right?
