Spoke wants be better, he really does. But how can he do that when no one listens to him and the one person who does is living the life that he is trying to escape? Everyone looks at him and sees him not for the person he is, but the person he was and revenge against the actions of his partner.
Spoke is tired, all he wants is to see Parrot one more time without the other looking at him like he is a monster. Though Spoke supposes he is a monster, so he can't blame Parrot. Spoke is fine if people hurt him. Its only fair for what he did, Spoke just wishes someone else would be around to do so in the first place.

Summary
Wemmbu has spent years perfecting the art of staying invisible. Growing up in a harsh home taught him to hide every fear and mistake behind a calm mask. College was supposed to be his escape, a place where no one knew what he came from. But Spoke’s chaotic friendliness and Parrot’s quiet, observant nature make it harder for him to stay unseen.
When a glass shatters in a café and sends Wemmbu into old instincts, both boys witness the fear he never meant to show. Their concern is gentle, but to Wemmbu it feels like exposure and failure. As the three grow closer, he’s forced to face something scarier than his past: the idea that people might care about him without judgment or punishment. Slowly, he begins to learn that trust doesn’t make him weak — and that maybe he isn’t the burden he always believed..

College is weird. Unknown. Scary. So what happens when Wemmbu starts college, where he doesn't know anyone? At least not that he knows of? Starting college at Unstable won't be easy. Especially without his best friend. He's scared and isn't ready.
Though he meets someone he'd like to keep close. He makes friends despite being scared to. Even despite breaking his own promise not to get attached to anyone like he got attached to.. Them.
Faced with unfamiliar territory, Wemmbu makes 2 rules for himself that he absolutely cannot break.
1, Don't get attached to anyone - Easy enough.

Summary
A lone figure stood in front of a beautiful, towering building. Dread curled tightly in his stomach, heavy and insistent.
His new college.
It really was beautiful. The Victorian-style architecture rose proudly against the sky, all sharp angles and elegant curves, with multiple towers and narrow balconies that looked like they belonged in another century. A copper-tiled roof caught the light, dulled by age but still warm in color. Massive oak trees surrounded the campus, their branches stretching wide as if to shelter it. The few orange and yellow leaves clinging stubbornly to the limbs swayed softly in the wind, fluttering down now and then to crunch beneath passing feet.

Wemmbu starts his new life at college, trying to leave alot of things behind.
