Summary
Jude Duarte doesn’t have friends. She has her twin, her books, her treehouse, and an unshakable determination to punch anyone who makes Taryn cry. That’s enough. It should be enough.
But then there’s him. The faerie prince who keeps slipping into her world like it belongs to him - stealing her cookies, mocking her treehouse, and leaving her with more questions than answers. Cardan Greenbriar is sharp-tongued and entirely too arrogant for someone who can be bribed with mortal snacks.
Jude swore she didn’t need friends. Unfortunately, Cardan didn’t ask for permission before becoming one anyway.
In which Jude Duarte punches boys, hides cookies, and maybe falls in love with her enemy.

Summary
Trapped, bleeding, and about two seconds away from collapsing, I have to drag myself forward to save Cardan — because apparently letting him figure things out on his own is too much fun. Bound, panicking, and generally losing it, he clings to me like I’m a lifeline he didn’t deserve — but hey, I’m not complaining… much.
In a world designed to make us miserable, it turns out stubbornness, love, and my utter refusal to let him die first are the only things keeping us alive… and somehow still together.OR
Jude and Cardan have been kidnapped, and now they’re fighting to save each other — clinging to whatever scraps of strength they have left. -

Summary
He caught her by the waist when the Queen almost tripped in front of the guards as they passed through the door of their chambers. Cardan had to caught a laugh as well. Seeing his wife drunk was as rare as seeing dragons.
He kept his grip on her waist as he closed the doors to the royal chambers, and what a surprise it was when Jude threw herself on top of him, knocking them both to the floor.
"Tell me you love me. Tell me I'm the only woman in the world you desire."
“I love you." Cardan obeyed without hesitation “You are the only woman I desire. You always will be."
“Now tell me something you've never told me before."
“If I could go back in time, you would have been the only woman in my life."I don't know what that is exactly, I just wanted to write Jude being vulnerable and sassy ><

Summary
“I have a proposition for you,” Cardan says, soundlessly swooping in behind Jude's back. As if having appeared from thin air. She can picture it in her head, without looking at him; how he would have that amused, mischievous glint in his eye that would dance in the moonlight, how his cheeks would be painted carefully with ridiculous amounts of gold shimmer, how he would be smiling that wicked mouth of his. The girl shivered—there were not enough words in the world to describe how intensely she hated Cardan Greenbriar.
“Go away, Cardan.” She said, so tired her voice came out flat, toneless.
“Oh? I think you’ll quite like what I have to offer,” he says easily, moving to sit beside her on the river bank, unbothered by the dirt. He lazily twirled his goblet and looked into the star spattered ashen-grey sky wistfully. “Marry me.”
When Jude get's herself into a scandal she can not claw herself out of, not this time, she is given a proposition by Cardan - her enemy. To marry him and become royalty. So rather foolishly, she accepts.
