Summary
Cassidy always found herself entranced by the idea of her soulmate. Fantasized about just sitting with whoever they were in cozy company, especially after finding herself homeless in Ebbot City. Not even the emergence of monsters could hurt her hopes to one day find them and just have someone be there for her and her returning the favor.
When less than ideal circumstances do arise in which she meets him though, she can't bring herself to find him again after parting.

If the vague and not-so-vague threats hadn’t scared her enough already, a towering, scarred, evil-looking version of the super-strengthed Papyrus she knew charging towards her was enough to cause Em to panic an understandable amount. The blue skeleton prepared himself, the purple skeleton looked on in annoyance, the orange skeleton hung on for dear life, Rus and the red skeleton looked on in bored, sadistic amusement, and Evil Papyrus took no heed of her pleas.
“Stop!” Em yelled, throwing her hands up. A tingling, twitching, trembling sensation not entirely unlike what she had just experienced tumbled from her chest, spreading to every inch of her body in a flash. Now separating her from all of the other skeletons was a faintly glowing dome of light, just barely perceptible to the eye.
What was not barely perceptible to the eye, and unfortunately very, excruciatingly, perceptible was Emery’s pants falling down to her mid thigh and her accompanying screech before she righted herself. Though... mid thigh may not have been the correct vernacular used here. Mid femur would suit the situation much more accurately.
It would seem as though Em was now a skeleton monster.

Your ‘work’ was unusual, to say the very least. Not many people you know got to say that they got to intern at the one and only Ebbot Aquatic Rehabilitation Center! The Ebbot Aquarium was on its own known to be one of the most prestigious aquariums around, and was incredibly difficult to land a job in. Needless to say the aquarium valued good work and only the best quality when it comes to their wonderful menagerie.
The Aquatic Rehabilitation Center was no different, in fact it was known to be of an even higher standard. It wasn’t even open for visitation, yet it was still so pristinely kept and cared for in a way that would make one think it was on display as someone’s most prized jewel.
Well, the Ebbot Aquatic Rehabilitation Center did indeed have some prized jewels of its own, and you were one of few people who had ended up on the team working with them. How exactly you got to such a rank as only an intern was beyond you, and the most you could guess was plot protection. But, plot protection or not, you had work to do.Bookmarked by Logically_Lethal

Being the favorite blood bag of ancient vampire, Nightmare, Blue constantly found himself on the opposite end of sharp fangs. He couldn't keep going on like this, not with the bruises on his neck, not with the anemia, not with the sadistic vampire shadowing his every move.
He devised a plan. Awfully violent, perhaps, but what other option did he have?
The next time Nightmare came for his blood, he enacted it out, disregarding all of his doubts and fears. And yet, despite his best attempts, it only landed him further within Nightmare's jaws.
