"Tech please," Tommy begged with tears in his eyes, trying to catch his older brother's gaze, "Please don't leave me," he tried, grabbing at Technoblade's shirt pleading for comfort. But Techno didn't listen, he couldn't. Instead, he cradled his head in his hands his anger boiling to the surface, and ripped Tommy's hand from his shirt before roughly snatching his little brother's collar, pulling him up to his own height with the voices raging in his mind. Demanding blood.
"I told you to stay behind!" Techno seethed with unfathomable fury. Tommy struggled while he sobbed. Missing his brother's kindness and patience and love. He didn't want his brother to be mad at him. He didn't mean to upset Technoblade.

Tommy pressed back uselessly against the side of the labyrinth, eyes squeezing shut, hoping, praying it wouldn’t notice him.
The snuffling stopped and a low growl sounded out that made the stones beneath his shoes shake. And Tommy opened his eyes a crack.

It was huge. It’s horns curled up towards the roof of the labyrinth, red eyes gleamed down at him. It’s breath was coming out in huge snorts, and even from here Tommy could see it’s tusks curling from its lip.
And it was staring straight at him.

So what is he supposed to do now? Just wait till the subway starts back up? Calmly without losing his shit? With a man covered in FUCKING BLOOD?!
This subway situation has to resolve itself soon. In the mornings, this kind of shit typically lasts just a few minutes before getting back on schedule. It should be no different this time, right? It has to get fixed soon. Because Tommy can not, and will not handle being stuck in this fucking cursed vehicle with this ominous fucker for long.
And thankfuly, he has a very simple survival plan.
All he has to do is to not say anything stupid, or even better, to not say anything at all. Keep quiet till the goddamn subway starts back up. Not die for a bit, or do things that might lead to that. He can shut his mouth up for a few minutes, can’t he?

Kim Dokja only stared down at the dog in front of him, meeting golden eyes that seemed far too complex to be that of a simple canine. He held it up beneath the arms, revealing a stomach so soft his hands itched to pet it, but the beast made no move to wriggle from his grasp.
Still staring at it, he tilted his head in the direction of the maid beside him before finally speaking. "The Yoo’s family dog huh? Is it allowed free reign all over the gardens?"
The maid, Yoo Sangah, stifled what might’ve been a laugh with a poorly faked cough. "My lord, that’s a wolf."
Kim Dokja shrugged at the correction. "Either way it’s wild." He paused for a moment before finally shifting his gaze to look Yoo Sangah in the eye, tone deathly serious. "I think we should get it neutered before the entire dukedom becomes overrun with them."
This laugh the maid didn’t try to cover, even as the wolf in Kim Dokja’s arms finally broke free.
Kim Dokja is ushered into an arranged marriage with a man he sees only when the moon is no more than a sliver in the sky — though at least he has a canine companion to keep him company when the nights grow too lonely.
