Summary
Werewolves were a dying species, and Techno is a lone wolf with a pup to protect. Having escaped a life from a fighting ring, Techno vows that his pup; Tommy would not have to worry about such a life. He settles in a new territory and soon meets his neighbors. Vampires. Or rather a blonde vampire claiming to be the Coven head; Philza. Philza talks to Techno unlike any vampire Techno has even heard or seen before. Claiming to want to become friends. Neighbors should be on good terms after all.
Techno lets the vampire walk and talk with him.
Techno keeps his pup hidden, not trusting the vampire despite the friendly demeanor. Refusing to change from his wolf form. He had long forgotten human speech anyway. Then one day, Philza starts acting strange.
Techno’s den is attack by vampires. And Techno will once again have to live up to his Fighting Ring name that he thought he had left behind in bloody paw prints. He would become the Blood God again if that meant his pup would be safe. He refused to lose another pack.CHARACTERS NOT CC's. I DON'T CONDONE ACTIONS THAT CC's MIGHT HAVE DONE IRL.

Summary
Philza the vampire waited with his hand stuck out, tilting his head to copy Techno when he tilted his head in confusion, one big ear flopping to the side. He scented the air again, trying to get a better read on his intentions, but he was met with nothing but honesty and eagerness, the man smiling on patiently.
Unwilling to shift back into his human form, Techno simply took a half step forward, sniffed Philza’s hand once, and then pushed his nose into it briefly as a greeting. He stepped back quickly, and the vampire seemed satisfied.
“It’s nice to know one’s neighbors, I think. I hope we can stay friendly.”
Techno tilted his head again at the words, but Philza simply turned on his heal and walked back up his own path, back the way he had come, on silent feet. Techno watched him go until he had fully disappeared from sight before resuming his patrol of his boarders.-//-
Or: Techno's journey from being 'willingly' alone, to the willing protector of his own, mismatched family.

Summary
Phil is a soldier on a ship that had gone to war. In the process of going home their Captain angers a God that curses them, sending them way off course. The encounter monster after monster, that just took them further from home. Phil having had enough of never being listened to when it came to such creatures. Keeps his mouth shut when he notices the ship is selling through Siren territory. Instead he enjoys his night shift chatting with a beautiful siren that claims to be his wife with children. Beckoning him to come into the water with her.
Phil doesn’t have children or a wife. And unbeknownst to the siren in the water, Phil can read lips.
This is heavily and I mean heavily based on the Epic song called Suffering. So your going to see familiar lyrics being in this story.
