“Please don’t tell me that Soil is over. Please.” The words were quick, rushed, as if there were limited time. Fuck, Daron was begging so harshly, so pathetically, it felt like his vocal chords were closing up and gritting together, pulling onto itself like drying concrete, filling his body and weighing him down.
“Daron--"
“God, please, Serj, I’m sorry." His skin was hot; irritatingly so. It made his clothes stick and itch. He felt flushes of chill air around his upper lip, back, calves, and head, sweat forming on his neck. The breathing felt increasingly muffled, like there was a plastic bag over his face. Like He was slowly suffocating. He surely felt like it.
"--You didn't do anything wrong, Daron."
And he could only feel his heart breaking more.

-Don't Go into the Woods by Harley PoeThree years have passed since Alex Kralie halted the production of his student film "Marble Hornets" due to unworkable conditions on set. Since then, the cast and crew have parted ways, each of them leading a new path of their lives and forgetting completely about Alex and the film.
That is, until each of them are contacted with urgent and unsettling messages from their former director.
Now, something's pulling them back towards each other, and back towards Alabama like a magnet. And the iceberg they begin to uncover is revealed to go deeper than any of them had ever thought.
