Still blindly following Clave orders, Alec infuriates Magnus and gets kicked out of the loft. Magnus nurses his emotional wounds and Dot shows up. Lots of vodka, emotional upheaval, and recently compromised state with Azazael lead the doorway open for an unwelcome visit from one of Magnus's many uncles, A Prince of Hell, Greater Demon Sammael -- with a personal agenda against Magnus and everything he holds dear. Alec unwittingly gets caught in the middle. This doesn't bode well for either of them in the (tumultous) aftermath.

"What?" Alec breathed, still a bit shellshocked at this development in front of him.
"So, this guy has been wanting to go out with me, and he won’t take no for an answer. He just followed me around the corner. Please, just a hug -- just to get this guy off my butt," Magnus said kittenishly. "Please?"
Suddenly, huge soft brown eyes were gazing into his. Magenta highlighted dark bangs fell across his face. Alec was mesmerized.
Alec's knees turned to mush. "Uh, okay..." he managed to say, the rest of his brain short circuiting.

Magnus laughed, opening the door further to walk inside. His gaze was a little uncertain, still. “I’m really sorry about that, I should probably have told you that I was coming home earlier.” he tried to apologize.
Alec gestured for him to sit down on the bed next to where he sat himself. “I’m sorry you had to catch me like that. It won’t happen again, I promise you that”
