Summary
“You know, the conclave of 1268 went down like this. The townsfolk of Viterbo locked up the cardinals, reduced rations to bread and water, then took off the roof to allow for natural light.” Aldo eked one eye open from repose; to Lawrence, it was like being caught in the view of a sniper. “Do you think the Holy Father would forgive me for not praising his originality?”
Lawrence thought about it, then cast his gaze to the window - one containing an image of the Virgin Tedesco was attempting with all his might to escape through. His progress was minimal; in Lawrence’s opinion, he’d fare far better if he were to stand on a box.
“I would think so,” he said, “though I’m not certain banality will remain your core complaint, once this is finished.”

Summary
He can feel it already, the euphoria Louis described – the kind of out-of-body, raw-dogging invulnerability that would’ve made even twenty-three-year-old Daniel Molloy ask ‘cocaine who?’ It’s deadly, how good it feels, and it wouldn’t take an addict’s mind to interpret it as such. As-is, Daniel is fucked harder than Nancy Reagan’s throat.
“Fine, I’ll skip the preamble, and let’s get to stepping: why aren’t I fucking dead?”
OR: Daniel Molloy Gets Turn't. Then he tries out the Rules.

Summary
It’s not so much the office that rankles - more the fact that Izzy’s not been in an office since ‘Ar Di’ was still kicking, and that approach had been working quite well for his blood pressure.
OR: when asked to project manage a 'favour' for Edward's new paramour, Izzy discovers it's best not to underestimate the receptionist.

Summary
Lucius had been kidding, with regards the ‘morning blowie’ comment, but is loath to complain- that is, until the clang of a bell rings out from above, and damn near deafens him.
“What the fuck-”
Lucius sits bolt upright in bed, but the watch post is right above Izzy’s quarters, and he soon hears Buttons’ unmistakable timbre:
“State y’name, or darkness befall ye!”
A very different voice - incredibly English - calls back: “What-ho, Clansman! I daresay I wouldn’t mind a cheeky word with your Captain.”

It’s not the first time Izzy’s walked in on Wee John doing something strange - but at least this time it’s not ‘watching Lucius and Pete getting a ride.’

Summary
Islington, 1989. Stede Bonnet’s knowledge of London’s gay scene is lacking in everything but rose-tinted glasses, as he leaves his marriage to run a halfway-house for ‘waifs and strays’ in the city centre.
Izzy Hands, the best mate of Bonnet’s new paramour, has been without those glasses for years.
OR: an 80’s AU from two different sides of the coin. Also, Ed runs a Greasy Spoon café, and Lucius has a great deal of shit to outrun.

Summary
“You’re all D’s, then?” is all he can think of to say when they’re sat once again at the table.
“In your language,” Dream says, “yes.”
“Right.” Hob somehow doubts Dream would appreciate a quip about whether he has a weird cousin stashed someplace named Derek. It feels disrespectful to even think, but cheating Death this long doesn’t exactly encourage respect for one’s ethereal elders.

Summary
He sets a hand briefly against Izzy’s lower back and makes to leave, only pausing when he hears Izzy’s breath catch in his chest.
Lucius looks up at the glass, where Izzy is looking also, frozen, as if watching himself touched has somehow magnified the feeling of the touch itself.
Even by Izzy’s standards, Lucius thinks, this is a bit crazy; he’s not exactly touch-starved these days. That said, if there’s any part of him that’s been compartmentalising, actually seeing it play out must throw one hell of a loop.
It gives Lucius an idea, and at least one part of that idea is genuinely altruistic.

Summary
Part of Lucius feels bad, because he knows there’s no way he’s supposed to be overhearing this. Another part of him is clocking onto the fact Izzy’s admitting to crossdressing in his youth, and given their history - given Izzy’s absolutely unhinged approach to sexuality - this is…
Well, it’s pretty bloody funny, if you ask him.
OR: Izzy gets sick, Lucius lives in the walls, and overhears some hilarity.

Summary
It feels like a fucking miracle when they pull back, panting, when one look at Stede’s flushed cheeks clues Ed in to the fact he’s on the exact same page. If they can agree on this, Ed reckons there might be hope for them yet. Hope’s for morons, of course. But Ed’s been prone to a stupid decision now and then, particularly when said decision is looking at him like he needs taking apart.
“What d’you think?” Stede breathes, eyes like a baby fucking deer’s. “Temporary ceasefire?”
Ed thinks about it, for the entire half-second that choice requires, once he realises he’s outrageously hard in his pants.
“Yeah,” he says. His hands find Stede’s chest, feeling his way over solid pecks, and a beating heart. “White fucking flag- let’s do this.”

Summary
His stance hasn't changed - he'd still sooner keelhaul his own bollocks than do Izzy Hands a favour, but an idea is already taking shape in his head - one that he's certain will have absolutely hilarious consequences in either direction, and for all it might get his throat slit, the odds still work out in favour of, for want of a better phrase, fuckery.
If Izzy wants to read, Lucius can teach him.
OR: Lucius' personal approach to 'fuckery' involves lewd gay poetry, and one oblivious and feral first mate.

Summary
He’s not surprised, but most definitely pleased, when Izzy swallows, face already heating, and rasps out a muted: “Green.”
He looks up at Lucius like he’s hankering after praise for his obedience – Hell, that’s how he looks most of the time, but today at least, Lucius isn’t playing ball.
“Heard,” Lucius says, then sits down on the narrow bunk, crossing one leg over the other, and appraising Izzy carefully. “Strip. Slowly,” he adds, when Izzy immediately thrusts both hands to his belt. “Top-down, if you please.”

Summary
Danny doesn’t think about the vibrator as much as it monopolises his every waking thought that week.
It starts off with the near-revulsion he’d all but stuffed down Steve’s throat the night he’d brought the damn thing out, and replaced all-too quick with a confused sort of want when he remembers the way Steve had looked doing it. What he’d said – murmured, really, voice dipped low and rich against Danny’s ear as he backed him against the pillows: “Wanna show you something, babe. Wanna know if you’ll do it for me…”
In which Danny has his eyes opened, and I crawl into a parallel dimension where I'm able to pretend I didn't spend three weeks of my summer holiday writing vibrator porn.

Summary
Bond is a honey-trap, and Q has never enjoyed feeling sticky. It occurs to him more than once that shagging it out of his system might be the best medicine: he’s fairly sure Bond wouldn’t be too difficult to convince, if the man’s reputation’s to be believed.
Where Bond is concerned, Q has learned quickly that rumours about him do tend to be founded in truth.
