Senku often prided himself on the vast knowledge he’d spent the better part of 24 years on the planet collecting, learning, and mastering. The edification he’d curated for himself knew few bounds; topics never solely devoted to a single subject of interest.
Even still, he’d never been boisterous in said pride—like most assumed he would be upon first meeting him—but more so prideful in the standards he held himself to when assessing a problem, calculating potential solutions, then selecting the most efficient route to pursue based on the expansive knowledge he housed within his own mind.
The one instance he’d ever failed so blunderously in this regard, though, was the day he’d lied to his friends and family about having romantic relations with a completely fictional paramour.

No es que le disgustara, pero incluso para un niño, aquellas palabras se escuchaban más lejanas que la magia en sí misma. Quizá esto se debía a que las leyendas sobre brujas, seres mitológicos y demás criaturas e incluso encuentros breves con estas abundaban en cada rincón de Japón y del mundo en general. No obstante, el cuento de un alma gemela tenía tantas variaciones, tantas versiones y tan poca gente hablando de encuentros de ese tipo, más allá de una mera analogía, que a pesar de ser un niño, Ukyo pasó por completo de ese tipo de relatos, sin darles una segunda mirada.

When one feeds the greed, it wants a grander ship and demands the entire ocean.

A man stands in front of Senku — but Yuzuriha doesn't think he looks much like one, not in truth. He's more like a boy. A boy masquerading as a man. His armor his muscles, his charisma his blade. But those are blankets — covering his mind. A daydream wish, a world only a child could think was possible.
"You know," the man speaks. His tone wistful, almost even glad. Yuzuriha finds it pungent. Each soft spoken word like a fine razor to the raised hairs on her neck. He tries to quell the unease, to make himself approachable, understandable.
