Summary
"I’m giving you my Gate of Truth. Take it. It’s my alchemy... That’s enough to buy back my brother."
In the white void beyond the Gate, Edward Elric offers his ultimate sacrifice to bring Alphonse home. But Truth, ancient and eternal, finds itself bored by the "perfect irony" of a boy becoming mundane.
Instead of taking Edward's alchemy, Truth demands a different toll: a window into the world.

Summary
He needn't have worried. The small one was strong.
He sees the human many more times since then. It seems as if the herd doesn't venture out without it. He wonders if that one is the pack-leader. It seems logical, but humans are not always creatures of logic.
He forces back memories of that one, and continues to shadow the herd whenever it ventures out. He makes a habit of waiting in the small grouping of trees near the gate so as not to miss one of their outings. Eventually he learns to distinguish the small one from the others even before it takes to the air, and he feels proud of this accomplishment.
Months later, only hours after the humans had returned behind their walls, everything changes.
(In which Eren is not a human that can turn into a Titan, but a Titan that can turn into a human.)

Summary
As he falls, he lets himself think about it. He lets himself think that if he wakes up, if things go back again, it means that he does have a quirk. It means he really can take a swan dive off a roof and hope for better luck in his next life. It means that all along, he’s been useless and worthless because he hasn’t died yet.
He hits the ground.
And then he opens his eyes.

“Brother … stop!”
“It’s us! … family.”
“Snap out of it! What’s wrong with you?”
The words intertwine with the insane ramblings within his own mind.
There’s a blade in his hand. It’s resting precariously over Damian’s pulse point.
He digs it in deeper.
He could kill him now. He really wants to.
His eyes meet Ra’s, waiting for permission.

There was a time when people used to call Jason the black sheep of the family.
Turns out the Robin mantle wasn’t the only title that Tim inherited.

Summary
The wind whips around, rapid, and sharp with sand and grit.
Tim can’t see—there’s so much dust trapped between his eyelids that he can hardly tell if they’re even closed or not. It burns and stings, it fills his lungs, and all he can think about is his body, buried under a new dune of sand, and his family, so many miles away, not even thinking to look for him there. And just as suddenly, the sun and sand and howling winds are gone.

Summary
There is occasionally a certain point one reaches during the attempt to attain a goal where one decides that the goal is just not worth it.
Unfortunately, this also often coincides with being at a point in the attainment of that goal where it’s too damn late and you’re just gonna have to suck it up, buttercup, and get your shit together and do it anyway.
Tim is pretty sure this shit is absolutely not worth it, but it’s too late now and even if it wasn’t, Mama ain’t raise no fuckin’ quitter.
Or:
Tim’s quest to bring Bruce back from his Time-Travel-Super-Vacation goes horribly topsy-turvey when Ra's takes a more pro-active approach to keeping Tim prisoner, and he ends up in an alternate universe where he never existed, and everybody is disorientingly well-adjusted and weirdly obsessed with his “wellness”, whatever that means.
Tim hates mystical artifacts.

Summary
About two years after Bruce returns from the timestream, everything is going pretty well. Then someone hacks the Batcomputer from afar, claiming to be Tim and in need of help. But there’s a problem: Tim’s dead. …Right?
(When Tim was working to save Bruce from being lost in time, Ra's al Ghul found out about Tim's doomed clone experiments and had an idea. Of course, after Tim escapes and destroys much of the League of Assassins in the process, it takes a bit for Ra's to put his idea into practice, but late is better than never! At least, it's better for Ra's.)

Summary
The story of how Levi Ackerman finds solace in the picturesque, fairy-tale cottage that he finds himself in after an expedition gone wrong. And, perhaps, the fit, too-nice-for-his-own-good other man that lives in it as well.
Brought to you by his lungs being crushed by a titan, Eren's long hair, a cottage in the middle of a forest, pure domesticity and a few cats.
Somehow, Levi grows to like it. Walls, maybe even love. This is not good.

Summary
(Formerly known as Into the Deku-Verse)
Shota sneers at the teenager across from him. His defense raises like the hairs on the back of his neck as he glares steadily, ready and waiting for whatever will come from this encounter. He narrows his gaze when the teen shifts; just the thought of sharing this rooftop with Japan's most notorious villain makes his skin prickle. “Deku.”
“Y-yes!” the teenager cries out in relief, taking a small step towards Shota, “I’m Deku! I’m so g-glad you—”
“Deku,” Shota growls darkly, flicking out his capture weapon hastily to snag the villain before he can make his move. He's quick to tug it taut, leaving no room for Deku to escape. “You’re under arrest.”
“I-I’m what?! W-wait!”
tl;dr
Hero Course student Izuku comes to the realization that he is definitely not where he's supposed to be.

"I haven’t seen anyone else,” Izuku said quickly. “It’s just been us. Did we all get here at the same time? I just woke up and I was here.”
***
Some heroes have happy childhoods. Some don't. And preteens aren't known for keeping secrets, despite the desires of their older selves. Several heroes find their histories brought forward, and things may not be as they should - in the past or the present. How much can a child be saved, when their next six years have already occured?
(Aizawa would like a nap. He did not intend "problem children" to become even more apt, but when has he ever gotten what he wants?)
