And that’s when he saw it. Saw him.
The same angry guy with the red beanie from his dream was sitting there, in his room, perched on top of one of his many stacks of boxes. Either Tyler wasn’t fully awake enough, or this guy also looked like he was translucent. His arms were crossed, and he had the most annoyed look Tyler had ever seen in his life. What was his name again…? Bleary? Blearyface?
“Hi roomie.” The translucent man pursed his lips, the sarcasm dripping from his tongue. “First time you can see me, right? My name is Blurryface… but calling me Blurry is easier.” He hopped down from the box tower and floated closer to Tyler’s bed. He sighed exasperatedly, as if talking to Tyler was a chore.
“I think you and I are going to be spending a lot of time together, whether we like it or not.”
OR: Tyler moves to the city, only to face a ghost living in his apartment and gets a new, hot neighbour.

Tyler didn't like going out a lot after graduation. The world became too much for him to deal with. He wouldn’t leave his apartment for weeks at a time, and gradually, his world started to shrink into whatever new series caught his eye, or doom-scrolling on social media. But Jenna was determined to get him out of his apartment for Mark's birthday... but Tyler knew that his ex-boyfriend was going to be there. The one whom he hadn't been in contact with since he dumped him on the night of their high school graduation party. So what was going to happen once they finally met again?

He knew that that was probably incredibly unlikely, but… he wanted to hear Clancy sing again. It brought out a soft, vulnerable side that he hadn’t seen before. And Torch wanted to pull down all of his walls and find the man behind it all. The one he had caught a glimpse of that night.
So for now? This was his little secret. And he was a damn good secret keeper.
