Jay Bridgestone hadn’t expected to collect himself a caravan.
Then again, he hadn’t expected to get abducted by Mindflairs and have a freaky-looking worm shoved into his eye.
He’d fully planned to keep them at arm's length. It always ended poorly when he let people in, be it because of death, clashing morals, or, more often than not, wanting more out of their acquaintance than Jay was willing to give.
A mutual beneficial, non-spoken contract and nothing more than that.

"Hey, brother, it's Sixer!" Came a cheery, tiny voice from the other line and the already struggling heart in his chest stuttered for a few beats as his mouth dried.
There were only a handful of people in the world who knew that childhood nickname, and only one with that voice, however different it sounded over the phone, but there was no doubt in Stan's mind.
"Ford?"
OR:
What if Bill's call to Stanley while possessing Ford's body actually went through and Stan has to race to Gravity Falls to find out if brother was dead or alive?
