Summary
Every day Diluc felt like he was outcast, he never really thought he fit in. Thus, he pretended to be the perfect son, the perfect older brother, the perfect captain of the calvary. He only became a Knight because of his father and brother, he never wanted to be a knight, he never wanted a vision (everything seemed to get worse when he got it).
He wanted to explore Teyvat, he wanted to learn how to build machinery after seeing a ruin guard for the first time. He wanted to invent things that could manipulate the elements. But that dream would never come true.
Afterall, everything slowly came crashing down on his 18th birthday. And then his reality shattered when he was stabbed in the heart and something else alongside his blood came pouring out of him.

AITA for abandoning my best friend on death row?I know this isn’t the best place to organize my thoughts, much less post it for hundreds of strangers to see… but I’m so lost and confused that I just don’t know anymore.
I (23f) was best friends with D (23m) since we were in kindergarten. Our parents knew each other and wanted us to get along, and we did, for the most part.
