Saparata snorted softly, but his eyes softened as he took in the scene, Fluixon, framed by the tall grass, pointing at something small and bright like it mattered more than anything else around them. He finally took a step forward, the corners of his mouth lifting.
“Alright,” he said, closing the distance. “Show me what makes it so special.”
“Well–”
Fluixon didn’t get the chance to finish his sentence.
One second he was talking with Saparata,
And the next, the ground below him was split open, and he was falling into a pit that had banners, preventing him from placing anything down that could help him live.
“Oh my Ish– JUDELOW!”
Fluixon heard Saparata scream from above. And as much as he had bigger fish to fry, he couldn’t help but wonder who this ‘Judelow’ person was.
Well. He had no time to wonder.
He was still falling down a massive pit after all.
Life really had it for him.
