G stirred from a dreamless sleep on the same flat, starchy cot as always, their head aching like the devil. Bright white fluorescents overhead filtered in through their closed eyelids, buzzing so loudly that G felt nothing but nauseous. Nauseous and stiff.
They tried to pull their hand up to brush at their face, try to block the light further or find the source of shade, but their wrist caught— a dull ache blooming again as they awakened the skin rubbed raw since long past. They were shackled to their bed, both wrists trapped in thick leather bands for their comfort, chained to the metal frame beneath the mattress.
G felt their heartbeat quicken to a panicked pace as they saw the faces of the two MOAT guards hovering over them. Fear overtook them instantly. They were trapped.
But, as G cringed to the side, shielding their face from whatever the guards may do, there was Sylvia. Bright, beautiful Sylvia.

The door swung open slowly. “Um, Kim? I think I need help with something,” Harry mumbled, just loud enough for his partner to hear. He stood awkwardly in the doorway, with a pained faux-smile on his face and a strangely hunched posture.
Kim looked up from the paperback and pushed up his glasses, studying him for a moment before speaking. He noted how flushed Harry’s cheeks were, and how he seemed to be trembling slightly, which concerned him. “Help with what? Is everything alright?”
“I, uh. I need medical advice.” Harry’s eyes shifted towards the floor, then back to Kim.
The furrows on Kim’s brow deepened as he narrowed his eyes. “What kind of medical advice?”
“Um. Hypothetically speaking, if someone were to, say, get some kind of foreign object stuck inside their body, how would you get it out?” he asked, his words quick and halting.

But it'd all been so new for both of them. There they were, moving in together before he'd even got Harry to fuck his ass. That was the sort of caution Kim had been operating with, and his higher thought processes didn't exactly kick in then, either.

He was dressed in a way a Vulcan would have immediately recognized as a spear-carrier on the prowl: heavy makeup, a silver cuff high on the edge of his left ear, a hammered silver ring on his right little finger. His Terran civilian wardrobe was limited, so he wore a plain black shirt and pants.
There were no Vulcans present, but that did not mean there was no one suited for Spock. He scanned the crowd again. He was looking for a man, a commanding man, someone bursting with masculinity and domination. But at the same time, not a bully, not a despot. Someone secure enough in his power to have no need for bluster.
