The note was for your mother, but you took it without a second thought, no planning or thinking whatsoever, maybe this is why you are labeled as reckless and stubborn. They wanted to reach out to someone who had a connection to the old employees here, their co-workers, but whoever sent out that invite got the next best thing.
A product of the factory, and the child of a pioneer of pain that the factory brought.
And a baby. Though that part was entirely on you and your emotional thinking.
So here's the deal: You came back to search for your mom’s old colleagues, you have a prosthetic arm to take care of, a toddler to care for, your own mind to mend and keep hold of, and a large amount of blocked off trauma that is definitely going to resurface cause of this place.
Aren’t you glad to be home?

Summary
When a letter arrives on you and your Dad's doorstep, it didn't take long for old hurts and unspoken secerts to rise back up. Despite your young age, you sneak back into the factory, to find out what happened to the place that caused everyone to disappear.
You never expected to tango with monsters with tragic pasts, face the evil that is humans and their damned greed as well as be met with things in your past that are bursting to be revealed.

Caught in an ambush during a trip to the museum an unlucky punch and a broken vase transports 1A, 1B, assorted teachers, an elated support student, and a tired Gen Ed kid to the space between the universes.
The space between the universes that has surprisingly comfortable seating, a boatload of popcorn, and the ability to peek in on other universes.
