Summary
Geralt's muscles heave backwards, flinging him down against the bed. He tries to struggle upwards but it feels like he’s been buried beneath a mountain. Every inch of him is pressed completely still. His eyes close, and he’s left in the dark with nothing but his racing heart for company. He’s not tired, he’s never been less tired. But the curse wants him to sleep, it seems. It’ll force him to lie here until he does. How much of his life will it start to control, now that he’s declared war against it? Now that he knows it’s lurking in his bones, now that it doesn’t have to be subtle?
He swallows. Takes a long, deep breath, gathering every bit of courage he has to stop himself from slipping back into panic. He still has control over his lungs. He still has that.
For now.
(Or: Witchers don't retire. They stay on the Path until it kills them. They hunt monsters and they want nothing from life. This isn't exactly by choice.)

Summary
In his time as a witcher, Geralt has killed just about everything that can be killed: monsters, beasts, constructs, men, even the undead can die again if you know the trick to it. Wraiths, he knows, are the lingering troubled spirits of people who died tragically, violently, unjustly and unavenged. Their unfair fate spawns in them a jealousy and hatred of everything living that quickly drives them mad and makes them dangerous and deadly, driven to torment those responsible for their plight. Usually he feels no more than a twinge of pity as he sends them off again with silver and fire, but then again usually they aren’t haunting him. Usually they aren’t Jaskier.
Geralt learns that Jaskier never made it off the mountain after the dragon hunt and, if that’s what it takes to appease the monster that now wears his face, neither will Geralt.

Summary
In some universes, master/padawan sexual relationships are healthy. In some they are not. An A/B/O world where the master would rather not have to deal with the hormones of a padawan he does not love, not even platonically.
Due to changes in AO3 policy, there is now a strict limit on tags, and as a result I had to remove tags while this work was in progress in order to continue posting. I very much disagree with this policy as one of the most attractive features of AO3 was that is was a searchable archive. Because tags are designed to let readers make an informed choice about whether to read a story or not, I have included the tags I had to cut. All his life, Obi-Wan Kenobi had only wanted to be useful, but everyone kept pushing him away. The Order, the AgriCorps, even the slavers who kidnapped him didn't really want him.
He had nowhere to go after escaping except back to the Order, and even then he wasn't wanted, but he stayed anyway, an invisible and lonely ghost in the deserted parts of the Temple.
Then one day he met a lonely child who had been a slave, and a lonely teenager-adult who was technically still a slave, and he felt that, maybe, he had something to live for.

The Best Fic Ever (an exaggeration but... not by much).
Obi-Wan was persumed dead after Bandomeer (I assume, not mentioned by name in the fic) and after escaping from the slavers that had him he went back to the temple where he is living in the walls. The clone troopers arrive and he decides to help them understand the jedi better (so that they won't be tossed out like he was) and they try to take care of him (even if obi-wan has a hard time believing he deserves it 😭). Obi-Wan is also helping Anakin with learning aurebesh and Anakin thinks he is Ar-Amu.
It is such a good fic with that grabs your heart and crushes it with feels, not because of anything bad "happening" in the fic, but because of the love and support (and basic decency) given when the characters expect the opposite. -

Lance has synesthesia. He calls himself a polysynesthete.
Nobody thinks much of it (except Pidge, who asks a series of questions and does a series of tests, curious as she is), it never affecting their missions much.
That is until he and Keith are sent off on a mission and Keith gets hurt.

Keith and Lance wake up married. In the future.
He lays there a moment, processing the faint throbbing in his head, a strange bitter taste like lemons in his mouth. When he opens his eyes, the room spins wildly into a kaleidoscope of colors, so he closes them again, breathing in and out until he feels less like he might throw up. He suddenly registers a warm weight over his waist, and lifts his head to see a brown arm thrown over him. It looks startlingly familiar, but different, bigger than he remembers, more toned.
Keith turns all the way around and comes face to face with Lance sleepily blinking his own eyes open.
