Minsu rolled onto his other side. He blinked slowly, checking his surroundings. It was dark, so he couldn't see much. The only sources of light were from underneath the door where Semi was and a single window in the upper corner of the room. Moonlight barely peeked through, highlighting the plain wall.
Minsu reached into his pocket for his phone. The screen brightened as he brought it up to his face. A notification from Instagram? Minsu swiped right.

maybe he shouldn't let the man pick his reactions apart just to offer him the sharp ends of his scraps, knowing jake would take it for being compliant, for being so desperate to prove. maybe he knows he shouldn't be feeling so compelled to make the man happy. maybe, but who else would forgive him over and over despite knowing his many flaws as an idol?
jake maintains the eye contact with a breathless pause before he's saying shakily, "yes, manager-nim. i'll do it for you. i can do that."
the manager grins that sharp, satisfied grin that makes jake feel like he's doing something right for once.
and so the dog swallows the bone.

Summary
Han Jisung doesn’t remember life ever being bearable. It’s always been dark and dreary, fogged over like life is shielding him, trying to protect him from whatever is set to knock him down even further.
He’s never quite believed in giving up, but he’s tired. Exhausted and strung out, no hope to fuel him for another few steps.
Wait just a few extra seconds, he always thinks. That added time does nothing to change his mindset, to change the path he’s on. He’s tried and tried, and he thinks it’s simply time to give up.
Or; the story of someone so broken, given a chance to live life the way he’s never been able to before, with the help of a new, unexpected friend, even if it isn't quite as real as it seems to be.

Little does he know he's about to reunite with Robin in highschool... and in a bad situation too. Finney tries to avoid Robin, but it doesn't go as planned and 2 new members are eventually added to their friendship group. School life is great, homelife not so much... but his friends and sister are there to help him out when he needs them. :)

The sun was beginning to set and its light and warm blaze was, slowly, vanishing. Robin stared at him. And Finney felt a chill. His brows were furrowed and his eyes were full of confusion, but his sunny grin was gone. Replaced with a slight frown.
“I’m not..” Robin’s eyes broke away. He looked at the deserted railroad tracks before his eyes went back over to Finn. “I’m not gay, Finney.”
Finney Blake confesses his love for his best friend, Robin. However, things aren't always hopeful.
