About 3 months after Miles Edgeworth chose death, the man decides to check the local news in LA to check on his abandoned friend. Expecting the new defense attorney to have another victory under his belt, the most recent headline punches him 3 times in the gut and twice in the face: Turnabout Terror attempts suicide from the prosecutor building!
There's no way that's right and Edgeworth knows it, ending his disappearing act to return home and find the truth.

Summary
What starts as pillow talk between Franziska and Maya turns into an argument when Phoenix and Miles's relationship is brought up.
Maya is convinced that Edgeworth is too emotionally constipated to realise Phoenix has feelings for him. Meanwhile, Franziska believes it to be Phoenix's lack of reciprocation and understanding of complex emotions preventing a relationship.
Determined to prove the other wrong, Franziska and Maya drag Phoenix and Miles on outings they believe will confirm their respective opinions. The chaos that ensues provides evidence neither had taken into account.
