Summary
They didn’t look like police; glossy red finish with gold accents, not at all the matte white and blue he’d seen of the police vehicles of Jasper. Even the vehicle type was different, lower to the ground, more streamline…speedy. It was missing the obnoxious overhead lights too, though Ratchet had insisted that was not a sure-fire way to identify the local law enforcement. Perhaps they were just civilian humans on a joyride. That, at least, Smokescreen could approve of. Especially with a sweet ride like that.
The engine revved and the humans flashed their headlights in a taunting gesture. Smokescreen couldn’t help but grin to himself. Organic or not, Smokescreen knew that universal request to race.
Or, an unlikely friendship forms between Smokescreen and Knock Out.

Summary
It happened from time to time, though it was often rare to feel it affect him so deeply. His system was prone to bugs when he swapped between hardwiring into the Magnus armor and disconnecting into his current frame. He wasn’t sure why his frame sometimes hiccuped in its recalibration sequencing but, alas, it was not completely unexpected. Irritating nevertheless.
Distantly, Minimus wondered if the other prior users of the armor suffered the same or was it purely due to the inadequacies of his smaller frame?

“Well, “ Swerve felt himself fumbling as he scrambled to explain himself. “I name the drinks after people I care about, ya know? Friends and stuff.” He took a quick glance down at the end of the bar where Drift had successfully distracted Rodimus. “Or important people to me. It’s not…it’s not that deep.”

He took one more step forward, Laserbeak nearly in arm’s reach. The minicon glared at him but did nothing to impede his approach, perhaps actually listening to him. “If you don’t let us patch him up, he’ll never online. We all want what’s best for Soundwave.”
