After escaping the absolute disaster that was MI6, SCORPIA, and one extremely traumatic tropical holiday, Alex has carved out a new life in Geneva with Yassen Gregorovich - his one-time would-be murderer, now part-time soccer mum. Alex has friends, a school ID that probably won’t flag him on a government watchlist, and a near-complete immunity to green vegetables. Yassen, meanwhile, is learning the joys of kale, folding chairs, and passive-aggressive parent-teacher nights.
But paranoia is a hard habit to break - and when a stranger from Yassen's past shows up, everything starts to crack. Because Yassen is acting jumpy. Alex is having flashbacks. And someone has just installed a surveillance camera above their door.
Which is never a good sign.
Now Alex has to figure out whether this is a false alarm or the beginning of something worse. Like, say, a return to international espionage. Or emotional vulnerability.

Summary
Modern AU
Frank is 14 when he runs away from home. Unlike the movie, Frank doesn't run because of a messy divorce, Frank runs for his own safety. Frank's mother became abusive, depressed and drunk after her husband loses his job. They divorce but Frank is forced to live with his mother because his father isn't financially stable. Frank gets tired of living with his cruel mother and runs away and begins his life as a con-man. After a year of running the kid is finally caught, he spends six months in a high security juvenile detention center. Carl cuts the kid a deal with the F.B.I. but, since he's a minor, Frank has to live with Carl, as Carl was the only one willing to take him in.
