Summary

In the midst of their cat and mouse game through the Arctic, the creature observes Victor from time and time and begins to wonder if things truly have to be this way. He tires of indulging the rage and pain in his chest by inflicting it on his maker. He knows himself to be capable of changing his mind and actions for the better, but is his maker willing or able to do the same?
