Summary
After a few years of living together in New York Alex and Henry's lives are going great, but Queen Mary is an ever looming shadow. When she summons Henry back to England for apology tour for a comment he makes on a podcast, Henry and Alex realize something needs to change. Before they can make that change, though, Henry's plane home from the apology tour crashes in the Canadian wilderness, killing all on board.
Or so Alex is lead to believe. Trapped in his grief, he flees back home to Texas to try and start over. And over. And over. He finally settles in a small town at a small lawfirm, but it isn't until he joins the local volunteer fire department that his life starts to finally turn back around.
Only Henry isn't dead. In an attempt to both smother his "corrupting influence" but still protect the line of succession until Philip has kids, Mary has had him squirreled away deep in the Australian outback.
And, well, it's amazing how often the outback burns, isn't it? Sometimes, it burns so bad, they need help from international firefighters...

Summary
Staying at work late had become an unconscious part of Henry’s evenings.
Not because that’s where he wanted to be on a Friday night as a single, gay man in want of a live-in boyfriend. It wasn’t because he was – as his nieces kept insisting – keeping all the exhibits from coming to life and running off into the night. The truth was museums were very busy places. Whether one worked up front with the regular patrons, school groups, and special visitors, or in the back with the restorationists, archivists, and catalogers.
Especially when one was responsible for locating another country’s property, curating an exhibit about said property, and then organizing a gala for the exhibit, donors, and ambassadorial staff of the country the pieces would be returned to when the exhibit closed after five months.
Especially when a very handsome, inappropriately-dressed man falls out of a borrowed statue and into his lap on the night of the full moon.

Now he's sitting in Albus Dumbledore's office listening to the boy claim that he's from the future and the Master of Death while Voldemort's corpse hovers beside them. Potter has changed and Severus finds himself landed with a boy who isn't the same irritating brat that he once knew.
This was originally titled The Potion Master's Apprentice, written by Athy and abandoned, up for adoption. She has kindly allowed me to take her beautiful idea into my own hands to do with it as I will. It is still here on AO3 and you should go read it. Bucky survives HYDRA’s experimentation just to get stuck in the future (of an alternate dimension) for a week. He’s supremely thankful for the warnings he got there, that prevented the ‘Winter Soldier’ from ever becoming one of his titles, and prevented Steve from earning the nickname “Cap-cicle”. He’s pretty sure he’s dodged both those bullets. Now he just has to make it far enough into the future to meet his alternate-future-self’s fella, and maybe help out with an alien invasion or two along the way. Piece of cake, right?
