Soundwave stilled, his frame locking up as dread swallows him whole. He knows that voice, slightly scratchy and condescending as usually. But this time, the voice carriers a hint of smugness.
"~Starscream~" Megatron's recorded voice clip said sternly.
aka. Soundwave deletes the location of an Autobot signal due to fear of losing more resources, and ends up getting caught.

Summary
John MacTavish, discharged from the military because of a bum knee(and a bad shoulder, but that's besides the point). John had recently bought a nice little cabin out in the country for him and Kyle, where he can peacefully sketch and do his art while Kyle's gone doing Lieutenant things and protecting others. But when a bitter cold snow lasts for a long dreadful week, and John's out taking a walk, John unexpectantly meets a fearful lone wolf on it's own stuck in a beartrap, and no doubt freezing it's poor arse off while bleeding out.
John can't help himself but bring the wolf inside, help the poor animal in anyway he can(despite his fear of the thing.)
Or, Johnny's home alone while Kyle works as a Lieutenant in the TaskForce141 with Price, and John brings in a wounded stray that reminds him of someone. Despite his fear for dogs, this 'dog' doesn't scare him....much.

*Update:...what the heyalll😰.. I don't remember writing body horror(?) in my fluffy fic- especially not like that, poor Simon.. anyways, I'm glad you guys seem to like my little crappy fic, & yes I'm still alive😑, I just have no motivation too many ideas, & a bit of writer's block ig. But this is the first one-short I've ever written, & I plan on writing more in the future (hopefully) of other things I like that aren't COD related, but thank you for reading and enjoying my little fic as I work on other stuff!(lets pray I stick to one idea, or finish one of my drafts & post soon🫠).*

Megatron’s optics brightened. He reached out and clasped his conjunx’s hands, large servos gentle around them.
“Always,” he promised.

“You are not John-117. Now speak the truth, soldier. Who are you?” John asked, stepping up next to Vannak looking down at the new Spartan. He was furious that someone would stupidly lie to his captain, his team, and his own face that they were him. When it was obviously and clearly not the case.
“Who are you?” He asked back.
“He’s Master Chief. He’s John-117. Who are you?” Vannak nodded in his direction, keeping his rifle trained on the spartan imposter. The imposter remained silent, maybe now finally realizing he was caught in his lie when suddenly.
