Summary
Jungkook still remembers that day.
Jungkook can recover. He can get better and one day get out of the wheelchair to take a few steps, take back what was lost. But Jimin can’t open his eyes and see their smiles, the thousands of fans that had gathered just for them, the tears that run down his cheeks when he's frustrated.
Jimin can only swing his cane around and hope for the best, that he doesn’t fall or run face-first into a wall. Jimin can only hope that people will respect him and help him when he needs it, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes people ignore him or make fun of him for his cane, but they tend to just film him. They take out their phones and stare and laugh as Jimin tries to find out where the cereals are.
And it makes Jungkook angry. But he tries to keep it inside and be there for Jimin because Jimin hates pity. He has his cane, his dog and his mouth if he needs to ask for help.
But that doesn’t stop him from feeling guilt, guilt for recovering what was lost while Jimin was forced to adapt to his world of darkness. Jungkook’s heart ached for him. For something that wasn’t, for something that wouldn’t.
Jimin had never liked the darkness.

Summary
Jimin was like every other fledgling: impatient to grow up and get his wings. But being only ten, he still had ten more years to go. Every day felt like it dragged on and on, except for the day he snuck onto a foreign space ship and fell asleep, taking him and his dreams away from the life he once knew.
Now, ten years older and still trapped in the Menagerie of Intergalactical Oddities (The Menagerie for short, or "hell", as he knew it), Jimin still hadn't gotten his wings, and with no way of knowing, lived out each day with a desire to one day not wake up at all.
But after a series of... very... unfortunate... events (that lead to the death of a male keeper), Jimin is out and so fucking lost, having no idea where he is. All he knew was Pleiades, but that was stolen from him years ago. He can't even remember his family's faces. He simply clings onto the hope that the man he saw one day in the crowd will take him as he is. He knows his mate when he sees them. Hopefully, he has the right ship.
Hopefully, he can escape and get the man with the skeletal tattoos to take him back to Pleiades.
But things were never meant to go his way.
