Summary
Rapid fire thoughts in French pour into his head, each more hysterical sounding than the last. He recognizes “merde”, “putain”, and “pensée” and that’s it. Unhelpful.
“Charles,” he murmurs, slightly apologetic, “French.”
Charles’ eyes get even bigger, his eyebrows shooting up to his hairline. He makes a noise that if Max were a slightly less merciful person he would call a squeak. Watching him make the absolutely unhinged connection in real time is fascinating. Then carefully, in tentative English, You are hearing my thoughts?
Miserable, Max nods. Then shrugs. Fuck.
“Max,” Charles practically hisses, his grip on Max’s hand going tighter. The pinprick of his nails feels like the only thing connecting Max to the earth. “What the fuck?”

“Maybe next week Max will let you win,” Tom jokes.
Charles chuckles a little, but looks even more uncomfortable than he did before.
Max, still riding on his anger from Charles admitting Ferrari are upset with him, raises the microphone.
“That is not funny,” he says, barely restraining himself from unleashing his anger on Tom.
If he doesn’t put a stop to this now, people will always speculate. They will always wonder: did Max let Charles pass? Did Charles go wide on purpose? Are they going easy on each other? Are they sharing team secrets?
“What, you think that because I love him that I would just let him pass by me? You do not know anything about our relationship, and you clearly do not know anything about me if you think that I would do this. If I let anybody win, I would not deserve my seat in F1. This joke is stupid, and it is insulting.”
or: following their very public trackside and podium kisses, Max and Charles deal with the consequences of their coming out. They knew things would be difficult; but they didn't really expect the many, many ways it would change their lives.

After the defeat of Gabriel Agreste and the disappearance of the mysterious peacock miraculous user, Marinette is left to try her best as Guardian and pick up the pieces. With the kwamis left in hibernation, no leads on the missing peacock miraculous, and no way to contact her beloved partner, she's left to her wit's end on where to proceed.
That is, until the prime suspect of the peacock wielder coincidentally takes up an apprenticeship at her parents' bakery. Adrien Agreste, son of Hawkmoth, has seemingly planted his roots in her home while Marinette was away for an apprenticeship. This could either be a disaster in the making, or the perfect opportunity to retrieve the missing miraculous... either way, it's war.

By GrianIn recent weeks, HotGuy has been leaving much to be desired on the battlefield. It seems after many long, hard fights, he just can’t keep it up. He used to be quite anal about his victories, but now he’s had a few close calls. Could it be that his arrows just aren’t what they used to be? Is he firing blanks? I wouldn’t be surprised if his enemies are having to fake their defeat. Of course, HotGuy is far from the only man who struggles to hit the target, so maybe I shouldn’t be so harsh.

The beach is lively when he gets there, with scattered people in each area and Tommy almost feels uncomfortable, shifting the backpack on his shoulder and thanking the Uber driver as he slips out of the backseat, until he recognizes a tall man standing in waiting by the entrance, leaning against the stone wall and gazing at something on his phone.
“Wil!” he calls, trying for enthusiasm despite the way his voice cracks a little, and he lifts a hand to wave to the man, who looks just as ecstatic to see him, grinning widely and pocketing his phone to walk over in two strides.
“Tommy!” Wilbur responds, standing in front of him now with the biggest smile on his face, as though Tommy were the very sun in the sky itself (and if there’s a flicker of concern as he takes in the boy’s features, the way his hands shake a tad and the restless that clings underneath his eyelids, Tommy doesn’t seem to notice).
