Summary
Being part of the Wakandan King's Guard was a job Bucky never thought he'd fall into. But apart from the uniform, it was a great gig, especially since he got to stare at Captain Steve Rogers when the changing of the guard occurred. The same Captain who six months earlier promised him the night of his life then disappeared, ignoring him after.
So when Bucky ends up on duty with Steve, he wasn't expecting to be recognised, nor was he expecting a rogue intruder to interrupt his less than platonic thoughts.
First save the palace - second get the guy?

Steve was in the middle of what seemed like a perfectly normal mission, when he got hit trying to save a civilian. Bucky hadn't even noticed there was a fight raging around him.
When they wake up, both Steve and Bucky realise they are no longer in their own bodies.Bucky attempts to navigate his way around Stark tower, surrounded by superheroes and disembodied butlers, while Steve has to contend with an overprotective sister, a hyperactive three year old, and a cat who doesn’t trust him.
Brought together under objectively weird circumstances, they must figure out a way to get back to their own lives, but maybe the switch isn’t so bad as it first seemed, and maybe they can have a little fun with it while they figure things out.

“This is practice,” Steve interrupts like a dumbass, “there is no winning.”
Bucky’s lopsided smirk pulls at the corner of his mouth. “Yeah,” he concedes, still in that slow molasses drawl, “but you guys all keep track of your time, right? I’ve watched you all compare notes after practice.”
Steve laughs. They’re a team of competitive little shits, they absolutely do that. “Yeah, okay, fair enough,” he relents.
“So,” Bucky continues slowly, his blush deepening, “you get the best time today...,” he takes a breath, drops his voice even lower, and soughs, “I’ll let you take off my clothes. All of ‘em.”
Shit.
Steve suddenly realizes what a fucking moron he is for having initiated this line of flirtation here at the pool and right before practice.
