Nightmare is unraveling.

Suffering calls to him. Misery clings to the air like perfume, and it leaves him wanting. That alone is enough to terrify him.
And when he finally snaps—tendril tight around Killer’s throat, spine nearly breaking beneath his grip—he likes it.
His curse runs deeper than he knows, rooted in his marrow, coiled tight around his soul. It feeds on his empathy, twisting it until pain tastes sweet and suffering makes his mouth water. He retreats. He lies. But it doesn’t stop.
It’s up to his lovers to drag him from the dark, and feed the thing that’s driving him mad.

Error clutches Cross’ sweater to his ribs, shivering as he feels the phantom touch of imaginary Cross. The Cross in his mind crookedly smirks as if in response, leaning teasingly closer to the imaginary Error’s pelvis as the telltale glow of building magic can be faintly seen through his pants.
Gasping, Error closes his sockets to try to escape his own mind, his bones warming as his magic gathers at his joints. However, instead of escaping, Error is thrown into another scenario; Cross, settled between Error’s bare legs and looking at him with a hungry glint in his mismatched eyelights. -

Frisk and their team enter the ever shifting labyrinth that is the Tower of Tartarus in search of a missing skeleton monster. They encounter some complications along the way, such as getting separated from their team, but they’re determined to make it through with everyone safe and sound.

For the UT character bonanza prompt: Breakfast
Error nearly closes the portal for good to continue working on his puppet to spite his hunger when he finds himself staring as a classic Papyrus stands at the stove. The Papyrus is wearing an apron with “COOL COOK” written on it in sharpie as he cooks what looks to be pancake batter mixed with spaghetti. It shouldn’t be appetizing, and normally Error’s sure it wouldn’t be. Yet for some reason that he’s obvious too, he finds himself reaching through to grab the plate of finished pan-ghetti-cakes sitting to the side.
“AH AH,” Error freezes, confusion and rarely felt shame stirring in him at the scolding tone.Or, Error eats breakfast with two skeletons who feel strangely familiar.

Geno is left speechless. Unable to comprehend what exactly is happening. Yet, as he stares at Error and his smile poorly hidden by an exaggerated pout, Geno starts to understand. So it’s with a smile that he can’t bring himself to attempt to hide and a twinkle in his eyelight identical to Error’s that Geno steps into his role.
Or alternatively, a lesser known symptom of being left isolated in a void is the awakening of your inner theater kid.
