Leonard jerked awake. Screams echoed through the cellblock, a shrill piercing wail and a lower, wrathful snarl. He rolled to his feet, struggling free of the sheet that tangled around his legs, and raced to the cell door to grab the bars. The rest of the cellblock was awake and starting to shout, some in confusion, some in terror. Leonard stared at the flames that were rising from a cell on the bottom row, licking at the surrounding area. Mick’s cell. “Mick!” Leonard yelled. “Mick, calm down!” His voice joined the hundreds of others. “Mick!”
The bars of his cell frosted over, ice radiating out from his hands. There was no controlling it now, not with Mick burning in front of him. The cold wouldn’t obey Leonard anymore, only the icy terror clutching at his heart.
(Or, the Star Labs explosion gave Leonard and Mick powers, but they're stuck in prison and unable to be as close to each other as they need).

Rory strides into the place like it’s his, all brash confidence and sure of his welcome. It’s a mistake, though, one that gets a gun leveled at his chest as he’s pierced by the icy stare of Leonard Snart. Even at this distance, I can see Snart’s flat look, a hint of his blue eyes, and a whole lot of lethalness. With any luck, he’ll shoot Rory in short order and I can bust him for the murder. Two scumbugs off the streets, one permanently. Now that’s rehabilitation. I duck back down and wait for the shot. Except that it never comes.
Rory gets loud. “Three fucking years!” After that, it takes me a minute to realize that it’s not words that I’m hearing, or even a fight. It’s something very different.

"Snart," Jacobson says, shuffling the cards.
“Captain Cold?” Weber demands. “You’d pick the almost literal ice princess?”
Jacobson raises his eyebrows. “Can’t be too frigid,” he says, “he keeps Rory pretty damn happy.” He starts dealing the next hand amid a small chorus of nods and murmurs of agreement.
(Or, the guards at Iron Heights discuss who they'd rather, Mick and Len's relationship, and that time that Len seduced a warden.)
