Summary

Angels. They're ethereal, above all earth, perfect in every way. Kaworu carries more knowledge than can be conceptualised. Then there was Shinji, a human, a boy, who knew next to nothing. But they shared one key thing in common... neither of them knew what it meant to love. Kaworu wants to talk about it. Shinji does not.
"'Something's wrong. I can tell it on your face,' Kaworu said with a gentle voice and an aching heart. Instead of being relieved with the gaze of Shinji's dark eyes, Kaworu was only watching the over boy fix himself a plate of rice. Kaworu sighed, if only to himself, but it got some type of message across the barren land that was the dinning table. 'You and I both know I don't show anything on my face anymore.' Despite the blunt voice that lacked tone, and the narrow eyes still focused on porcelain rather than glassy, red eyes, Kaworu felt himself become amused by Shinji's display of intolerance. This was going to be an intricate dance. That was dangerous, and they both were no strangers to danger."
