Like you can see the space where a person used to be, or I guess where they’re supposed to be. But no matter how hard you think, you can’t remember who’s missing. But you know there’s a space for them, if only they would show their face.” She sighed, unholstering her yoyo and peering into it, “I- I guess I have feelings sort of like that.”

Chat Noir remembers how strained their partnership has been in recent months. How distant Ladybug has been, how frustrated he’s become. How much he’s lashed out. And seeing her curled in on herself, so lost and hopeless, Chat Noir decides right then and there.
He’s going to make up for his mistakes. Be the partner in crime-fighting he should have been. Give her the support she needs, through whatever else life has planned for them.
So he talks to her. They rally together, and swear to fix their mistakes.
However long it takes.

Mortals are blind after so long without the Avatar, without Raava and her chosen soul to show them the power of the Gods. Mortals see nothing of importance these days, but this will change.
It starts slowly, starts with Agni's frown, Tui and La looking down at their people and raging against the world that took them for granted, Vayu and Raava working in tandem to bring peace but being stopped at every turn, Bhumi's blank gaze turning cold as Oma and Shu share worried whispers about their people.
Six children, chosen by their gods to bring back Balance to the world they care so much for. Six children, blessed by the spirits that tell them of things to come. Six children, children with their elements in their blood and Fate in their veins.

Plagg was told he was supposed to go to a socially awkward nerd who needed someone to encourage him to relax and actually live a little. He was assured he wouldn't have to do much. He was even promised all the Camembert he could eat.
Lies. Vicious, horrible lies.
He woke up instead to a panicking teenage girl. He could tell she was supposed to be a chosen. She just wasn't supposed to be HIS.
Someone had clearly made a mistake.
But somehow, he was going to work with this. And he would certainly have fun trying.

Hahaha, I love the way this concept was framed. It illustrates perfectly something I've always believed; that Marinette and Adrien absolutely could be a good fit for each others' Kwamis, but not better than their own.
