Summary
Spy finds himself at the door of what appears to be a strange amalgamation of Scout’s family home and the Team Fortress base. There, he reunites with his eight former colleagues as well as the Administrator, each having passed away at some point in his lifetime, and they dine together. Spy slowly realises, as the night progresses, that he himself is in the process of dying in the real world. In this dream state between life and death, he is ultimately forced to attend their respective final performances, all concluding with them embracing their demise. Eventually, Spy must do the same. Will he too accept his fate and go silently, with the knowledge that his end is inevitable? Or will he struggle, fuelled by past regrets and a sudden desire to make amends? Whatever he decides, he’ll need to act quickly- Death is not an enemy one can easily slip away from.

Belos’ expression shifted. His brows pinched together, his wrinkled lips pursing.
“...The ‘Holiday’?”
“Our day off, sir.”
“Oh, right. I forgot that the Covens see it as a day of rest. That should do, I suppose.”
Belos turned back towards the window. Silence settled between them heavily, weighing Hunter down in particular. Awkwardly, he shifted from foot to foot. After what felt like an eternity, Belos turned his head again. Though he smiled, the emotion didn’t seem to reach his icy eyes.
“Good work, Golden Guard. I’m pleased to know that your mission was successful.”
Hunter’s heart flipped with pride. He practically staggered on his metal boots, almost knocked back by the praise.
“I... Th-thank you, Emperor Belos!”
“You’re quite welcome.” Then, Belos patted the bench beside him. “Here... Come sit with this old man a moment.”
(Belos tells Hunter about their family, and the reason for the Emperor's Coven annual day off.)

Wilbur can’t shake the feeling that something is deeply, deeply wrong even as Phil wraps Techno up in a strong hug in the middle of the London Gatwick Airport. He looks so tired. Maybe Wilbur should have expected it, with how late Techno insists on staying up to match their time zones, but even so… Wilbur knows exhaustion. He greets it like an old friend. He doesn’t know this stranger pretending to be it.
“Wilbur,” Techno greets tiredly, looking small, swathed in a large gray hoodie and black sweatpants. Wilbur stumbles forward one, two steps before gripping Techno as tightly as he can in a violent mockery of a hug. It’s tinged with desperation and something worse, something far more dangerous. “Oof. Uh, hey, man…”
“Sorry,” He murmurs into Techno’s short, greasy brown hair. “Sorry.”

Spy had always prided himself on his cool, calm, and collected demeanor. As a master of disguise, he was able to blend in with any crowd and keep his emotions in check. But there was one thing that he couldn't control - his feelings for the Sniper. His enemy.
Spy came up with a plan. He would disguise himself as a younger woman and go on various dates with the Sniper, getting to know him personally. Perhaps, in doing so, he could figure out why he was feeling this way and find a way to put an end to it.
Then he’ll surely realize that his feelings are false..
