Summary
Uzi and V are rivals. Every night when Uzi tries to get the fusion cell for her Sick as Hell Railgun, V is the one to stop her. Through sheer skill, luck, and definitely not plot armor, Uzi always manages to escape, but always empty handed. Both of them resort to playing various video games to blow off some steam after their fights, but little do they know, they often play together! After weeks of playing together, they become friends, and then maybe something more... All the while, their IRL rivalry deepens. How will they react to finding out that their online crushes are their arch-nemesis? What shenanigans will they get into, what games will they play, and how epic will their fights be? Copper-9 offered a quick stop for the 11th Doctor and his companion Clara; enjoyable sights and expedient supplies. Yet, when the Tardis brings them to when they need to be, instead of where they want to be, they find the bustling settlement a shattered ruin of smoking rubble and catastrophic ashes. The only thing left alive being the humanoid workforce of worker drones.
Of particular note, three particular angst riddled horrors; fresh off the heels of the trauma of their camping trip gone awry. Though the harsh winds of Copper-9 groan with change and the sounds of new arrivals, at least N, V, and Uzi have each other. Right?

Earth was blurry.
Memories are vivid, but scattered. They’re like shards of painted glass that couldn’t quite form a picture. Like a handful of puzzle pieces that were all different shapes, those of which a few could fit together reasonably, but the others… not so much. And that wasn’t even mentioning the rest of the box, which might as well be tossed into an ocean somewhere with a land-mine taped on it.
She remembers a time before the gentle coolness of oil down her throat. She remembers a time before life-blood became the basis of her temperature management. She remembers being shorter, smaller, and the sensation of glasses frames perched in front of her visor.
V knows she wasn’t always a disassembly drone.
Because V remembers the mansion.

Surely, she won't refuse to even try to pretend to be Taylor Hebert, and decide she doesn't need a life outside of the Undersiders.
Surely, she'll be more peaceful than Taylor ever was.
...Oh, who am I kidding? The real question is if her powers can escalate at the same rate as the hole she digs for herself.

No sooner than Uzi had found the right energy pack for her rifle, one of the Murder Drones had arrived. Ducking behind a car, she used a shard of broken mirror to keep an eye on the Drone from safety, only to realize that it knew she was there. A crazed cackling filled the air as it leapt at her, knocking the rifle out of her hand and pushing Uzi back. A brief struggle later and Uzi held her rifle pointed at the short bobbed haired head of the drone and pulled the trigger, obliterating it. However moments later it started to reconstitute itself, and with her rifle recharging, Uzi looked around in desperation for something to use as a weapon...
