She says it all unsure, voice a little tentative. “Do you like me?”
And he looks at her. Really looks at her. This face that looks so much like the one that belonged to the person he loved second most in the world. Same nose. Same eyes. Same sharp jaw. But there’s differences, too. She’s soft where Robb was brash. Quick witted where Robb tended to be slow on the uptake. Sad where Robb was hopeful. But Jon knows she has a reason to be sad.
She lost him, too.
“Yeah.” He whispers. “I like you just fine.”

Once, she had wished that she could be like a lady in a song. When she was a girl, the tales of Jenny of Oldstones and Queen Naerys had seemed impossibly romantic. Melancholy had always seemed so beautiful. Now that she’d lived a tragic life, she was tired of sorrow. Just to see his face again would be enough, she told herself. But beneath that, hope was building up again. Maybe there would be something more than regrets waiting for her at Castle Black.
(At Castle Black, Jon restores the King's Tower and renames it the Queen's Tower. It's only proper that the Queen in the North have somewhere proper to stay, if she were ever to come visit him.)

Summary
A beautiful silver husky was tied to the bike rack a couple of feet away and given Ghost’s reaction, Jon was pretty certain it was a girl. Her ears twitched and she cast Ghost a slow glance before looking away again, eyes fixed on the bakery door. Jon chuckled, ruffling Ghost’s head again.
“No chance mate,” Jon muttered as he untied him.
Ghost instantly pulled on the lead, dragging Jon to the other dog despite his protests. The dog shifted slightly as Ghost all but shoved his face towards her and Jon groaned.
“Mate, you can’t just go shoving your face into a girl’s personal space!” Jon sighed, tugging on the leash and scowling as Ghost pushed on his paws, effectively gluing him to the pavement. “At least buy her dinner before you slobber all over her.”
“That is very good advice regardless of species!”

Summary
Jon Snow is the bastard son of Ashara Dayne and Ned Stark. With bright violet eyes, Jon received endless disdain from Catelyn Tully, who never forgot the beautiful woman that once possessed her husband. Raised at Winterfell after the death of his mother, Jon was eventually sent by Ned to foster with the Borrells at the Three Sisters, an old archipelago North of the Vale known for its pirate and sailing culture. Ned never expected, however, how quickly Jon would adapt to the pirate lifestyle, nor would he have ever expected what Lord Borrell’s daughter did to her new housemate.
Or, the mistresses of past Targaryen kings, Tyanna, Elinor, Mysaria and Melissa, are reborn as maidens of the Three Sisters, and Tyanna hopes to make a Maegor out of Jon.
This story takes place during the War Of The Five Kings, and the Young Wolf, Robb Stark receives his half-brother Jon at Moat Cailin.

He and Thorin eventually marry, Bilbo becomes Consort Under the Mountain, and the Kingdom of Erebor slowly returns to its former glory under their leadership. Meanwhile, they've also got three nephews to contend with and a Company of dwarves who can't seem to keep their noses out of everybody else's business. Political intrigue, royal headaches, cabbage patches, and hilarity ensues...

Thorin wakes up after the Battle of Five Armies the day the company is due to meet their new burglar in Hobbiton. He must find a way to use his knowledge to change their fate, yet dealing in secrets and subtlety does not play to his strengths. Thankfully, as always, he has Bilbo Baggins to cover his shortcomings.
