“You can call me, Ares.” Tommy replied. He felt himself slip into the role a bit too easily when the metallic words left his mouth.
“God of rage, war, and violence?” Kratos confirmed. Of course he knew he was the reason the group was named their names.
“Yes Kratos. I’m named that because you all have pissed me off.” Tommy let himself smile as he pointed towards the three and then back at him.
“What can you do to us?” Acanthis asked, Apollo glanced between the two.
“Well you see, when you mess with fire,” Tommy threw his hands down and fire flared to life below his palms, primed to be used. He saw their mouths open in either awe or shock, but it felt like a drug to Ares.
“You get burned.”

Or Tommy is neglected by his family of top heroes, so he becomes a villain to spend time with them, feat a wack moral compass.

Summary
Unlike Tommy, who proudly wore the symbols of his family's love, Tubbos skin was unmarked. He was considered an oddity, as most people would form soul bonds with their parents at a young age, but not Tubbo. He’d never had more than the bruises on his knees from falling on the playground or the tear tracks down his cheeks after a nightmare.
Or, after being told he is unlovable for his inability to form soul bonds, Tubbo learns that maybe that wasn't true. This does not mean he will believe it right away.

Summary
The person in the cell was no one he recognized. He was small, for one, with dirtied blonde curls, clinging to a ripped red hoodie that didn’t allude to any hero's uniform. His blue eyes snapped up at their entrance, wide and open with fear, and it made Tubbo’s gut twist.
He looked about Tubbo’s age, which was just a little bit of a scary thought.
“This is Tommy,” Dream stared into the cage like he was watching a show, and not a real person behind the glass. “He’ll need two meals a day and the usual necessities.”
Tubbo nodded with something hard lodging in his throat. “Sir, which hero is he?”
“He’s not a hero.” Dream looked over at him. “Tommy is the son of a hero. You’ve probably heard of him. Zephyrus.”
The two of them locked eyes, with Tommy sending him a silent call for help through the glass that separated them.
“Oh, and if you find out if he’s hiding anything,” Dream smiled the way that made him shiver. “Tell me immediately. I don’t want this catch slipping through my fingers.”or
Tubbo has to figure out the difference between what Dream calls a hero, and what Tommy calls a villain.

summary: in the aftermath of tommy’s “death” in exile, tubbo practically shuts himself away from the world, unable to handle the guilt and attempting to cope by burying it down. so he won’t have to confront it. so he won’t have to think of the fact that half of his family is dead, and that wilbur and tommy both went out in similar ways. so he won’t have to think about how he Hates himself for all of this (that it was his fault).
of course, some people don’t think that this is a very healthy approach to dealing with grief, so they have made the decision to try and help tubbo out (whether they are successful, or if tubbo really wants their help, is a tad bit irrelevant here).

But as he stands before Tommy, his shoulders shaking, and his eyes shining in the moonlight, he’s about as close as he gets to it. Tommy reaches up to grab his hand with his smaller ones. He hadn’t meant to make him sad.
He just wanted to tell him how much he missed his dad!
How he didn’t mind dying if it meant Phil would be his family again.
“You’re not supposed to be this…this small. Is this how bad we failed you?” It’s barely said over a whisper. Tommy has to strain his ears to even make out the words.
“I promise Tommy,” Phil says his eyes growing a fire in them. “We’re going to make this right. We’ll make it go away.”
And under the snowfall of the arctic winds. Tommy can’t help but believe him.

“Wilbur?” Tubbo falters, his eyes as wide as golf balls as his knuckles turn white beneath the pressure he’s putting them under against the blackstone.
Tommy matches his look, and with a stern brow he turns around in a hastily shuffle, propping his arms up against the steps. In one moment, Tommy feels every single emotion possible as he stares down at the end of the staircase where Punz stood just moments ago.
Wilbur now takes his place, looking just as he did when he left Tommy on that beach months ago. He blows smoke off the barrel of the gun he’s holding.
OR: The ending to the DSMP pissed me off so I'm writing this as to what I think should have happened.

Tommy took his job as a guardian angel very very seriously, except of course when he didn’t.
Guardian angels were responsible for keeping their assigned human alive, and while Tommy did that, he also liked to kick pebbles in front of Tubbo’s feet and send him sprawling. Hey, watching over a human wasn’t all that entertaining, especially one like Tubbo.
